No, I was involved in the swim team, so I had a buzz. But not a complete buzz, since my mom was worried I'd look like a skinhead.

I remember watching Louis and Clark as a kid, but I don't remember much about the show itself.

I guess the DCAU Superman is my favorite. That's probably too easy an answer though.

I have a soft spot for the first two Reeve movies.

Life of Brian/Naked Gun all the way

A. Holy Grail and/or Meaning of Life are funnier than Brian. (its good, but come on)
B. Naked Gun belongs in the Zucker pile of comedies. Funny, but not in the same league as Three Amigos.

I loved Teri Hatcher while I was going through puberty. Then the Internet came along, showed me her boobs, and ruined my teenage fantasy.

Back to movies, going to see LOOPER this coming week. Looking forward to it, especially after seeing Willis in EXP2.

Brian is probably their best film, but Holy Grail is more fun/quotable and best captures the spirit of the group's work I feel. But Brian is fucking awesome, though, and is to this day the best movie about religion I've seen.

Meaning of Life has its moments, but it doesn't hold up well as a film in my estimation. I enjoy it quite a bit and like all things Python have seen it many many times, but it isn't anywhere near Grail or Brian.

I'll be watching the final edit, so I'll be sure to give a spoiler free review that doesn't include the phrase "It throws you for a loop".

I'm a little anxious to watch it considering all the continuity issues the movie has, but I'm sure JGL and Bruno will churn out killer performances.

Watching a tv edit of REVENGE OF THE NERDS. A lot is lost, but that is to be expected. It's still awesome though. I remember seeing this when I was a kid, and not getting that there was a gay character, that the nerds smoked pot, that the Asian kid dresses up like Bruce Lee during the bike race, what "bush" meant, etc.

What a cast too. Booger has to be one of the best characters of the 80's. Winning an arm wrestling match by picking his nose right before the match starts is so smart funny.
I'd turn it off and put on the unedited movie, but I'm already in the third arc.

for me, the original edit of Revenge of the nerds is the TV version.

I never knew about the nerdy makeout/sexytime scene. Not the one towards the end but the one in the party where they meet up with the nerdy girls.

It certainly gave him a different look. IMO.

In my young head the nerds had an innocent charm. But Now that I've seen the whole thing (panty raid edition), my childhood image of them has changed.

Its a matter of seeing it with kid eyes and now adult eyes.
