Woah, that DC controller actually looks like it has a decent pad on it.
How is it?

Trust me when I say the pad sucks. That controller in general is terrible overall.dunpeal2064 wrote:Woah, that DC controller actually looks like it has a decent pad on it.

That arcade stick shown above on the other hand... pretty decent for a stock stick.

Yeah, I had that stick for a while It is nice, but I'm a pad guy.
Too bad to hear its poor quality.

I didn't even try that pad. It was just a freebie that was tossed in the box w/ the Agetec.
But personally, I do like the Ascii pad's dpad for shmups. Do you have one of those Chaz?

I got one of those Performance DC controllers from the seller I got my replacement DC from when my original DC went. It's red, not green, but it's a bit larger than the standard DC controller. Haven't used it.
About time you got VF3 and SR2!

I've had SR2 for years. This was just a freebie that he threw in, so I didn't need it and am sending it to Mike.ExedExes wrote: About time you got VF3 and SR2!

It does win "biggest pad in my collection". Even bigger than the original Xbox pad, if I recall.dunpeal2064 wrote:Yeah, I had that stick for a while It is nice, but I'm a pad guy.

Re: How is your Dreamcast gaming going on?
My brother in-law who is 11 came over this weekend and we had a blast playing the Dreamcast. Most of our time was playing Marvel vs. Capcom 2, which he fell in love with. He has just started getting into the fighting game genre, only having played Injustice: Gods Amongst Us for the WiiU and wanted to know more about some awesome retro fighting games.
His team was SonSon, Hulk and Cable and even though he was still pretty fresh, he was able to get some combos off. Nothing too fancy, but he was somewhat competent (although no air combos).
I also showed him Sonic Adventure. This was his first attempt at a 3D sonic, having played the old school stuff with me long ago. Man did he hate it and rightfully so. I only now realized how glitchy the game can really be if you have never played it before. He was doing things I never thought were possible, touching fences and being flung to unknown regions of the abyss, being chased by the whale only to fall through the floor and so much more.
Oh good times!
