I wonder if you could track down a programming vunderkind and get them to reprogram an XXX-in-1 multicart to just have legit roms. MAME has real, non-buggy dumps of all the standard Neo games. Obviously you're limited by the space on the chips, but you'd think with all those hacks, you could find a way to cram at least a few more legit games on it.

Or hell, just reprogram the 161-in-1 to be the 94 games it really is, sans hacks. Or I guess 93, you can just take AF3 right off of it...

i just got a Super Side Kicks cart for the bar and i figured i'd play around with it to test it out. an hour later, i realized i had other things to do. first soccer game i've ever had that happen with. what a fun, fast-paced game. can't imagine how much better it'd be with two players.

Aaron have you gotten a 161 in 1 cart yet? If you do you need to try out Super Side Kicks 3 and Sidekicks 4 Ultimate 11, I much prefer those games, especially Ultimate 11. The graphics are impressive for a Neo Geo game.

This series surprised me too. My exposure has only been limited to the one that comes on the SNK compilation for Wii but it really sucked me in. The only game on the compilation I 100%ed and got all the medals for.

I used to laugh at these weird interpretations of football at the time of their original release but now I can see what fun they are.

I'm having a similar level of fun with NEO GEO CUP 98 for the NGPC. Although it looks deceptively simple it's story mode is so quirky it sucks up hours of my time.

Nice nice. I've got a Fusion and I loves it, but I do kinda hate the fact that it's a bare board. Tradeoff for it being so dirt cheap (once I finally got it) I guess.

Welcome to the world of cheap MVS carts on your AES :D

That's got to be stressful on the MVS cart, right? Or are those carts that light?

About 8 weeks after everyone else got theirs, I got mine. Tim included a soundtrack to make up for the delay, which is appreciated:

you mean an $800 video game release doesn't usually come with a free soundtrack?
