eBay only has about four up from what I see, so it's not exactly common.

Mega Man 8 for the Saturn has a 5 scarcity rating; so, while it is not as rare as the five games with a 6 scarcity rating (i.e., Panzer Dragoon Saga, The House of the Dead, 3D Baseball, Winning Post, and World ChampionshipSoccer '98), it is certainly among the rarest games for the system.

I'm not sure if this even belongs here honestly, I know the game isn't rare by any means, but I guess supposedly the original black label box is...Anyway, I just got this today.

The actual game isn't rare, but it's not common to find one CIB in such nice condition.

Actually that game CIB is relatively uncommon. Most copies of the game were just SNES pack-ins, so they never originally came with a box.

Exactly, so technically it's probably the rarest
box I own, but still. haha

The non-million seller box/manual can do about $100+ in that condition.

I hate how people on ebay always use the term black label so loosely i got news for you just because some games are expensive and rare in black label form does not mean all of them are.
I heard someone tell me that there clocktower 2 was more rare so they were charging more die to it being black label?!?! there was not a greatest hits therefor black label makes no sense

Black label just means non-Greatest Hits/non-Million Seller/whatever. It can definitely be used to describe any game in its original release (not the original pressing, just a game not on the value-line). Might be a bit overkill for games that didn't see a value-line release, but it's more redundant than anything.
Plus Super Mario World actually saw a Million Seller release, but they're not nearly as common as the "black label" version. Still, the black label moniker is appropriate here:
