What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Terrible. Just awful. Who greenlit this piece of crap and did that person even see the masterpieces that were the first 3 Alien movies? And you know what's funny? Guess who wrote it? Joss Whedon. He obviously had some growing (so to speak) to do, still.
To each his own , but I'm not sure what Alien 3 you watched. Neither 3 or 4 were great, especially compared to 1 and 2, but I enjoyed 4 more than 3. Now it probably would have been a little better if it were just a standalone movie with nothing to do with the Alien films.

1 & 2 were definetly better than 3. But I still think 3 stands heads and shoulders above the crapfest that is Resurrection. Terrible story, terrible dialogue, no characterization, ridiculous "smart" Alien scenes, and the kicker is that Skeletal Alien that just looked laughable. And Ripley was not Ripley, just was a female Schwarzenneger spouting off one liners every few minutes.

Watched THE WATCH and probably won't watch it again.

Some great cameos, some nudity, I believe there may have been a script at one point, but none of these things add to the movie. It has some hilarious moments and has a vibe almost like Lethal Weapon, but something is off about it.

For a action/comedy/buddy film, 21 JUMP STREET was much better.

Was it 3 or Resurrection that had Ripley doing a behind the back half court basketball shot?

Then Resurrection is awesome simply for the fact Weaver made that shot in one take.

Not shit on television, and I need to start on dinner if I want to eat before 6pm so no time to put on a movie so Best Boy will have to wait.

Darkman. A bigger cheesefest than I was expecting but sam raimi's directing made it work.

Better than I was expecting. Very atmospheric, high-production values, good special effects, a good cast, and action-packed throughout. Nothing unique or groundbreaking, but a fun action movie. And it was respectful to the source material.
