I just got a Sudden Clarity Clarence
The 360 is 10 years old technology

Thats the difference between N64 and the 360 itself!!
Is it impressive for the 360 or technology advancement throttled?

@Ack
Thanks for the tips. I guess I am not going to play it. I found it for like $2 on Steam and I thought to play it just for its iconic "role" in videogame history I guess. I have a very short temper for buggy/irritating games. The N64 version is too expensive at $14+.

And second, have you considered using the choke point for melee combat? The knife isn't as powerful as a shotgun, no, but if you're fast, you can do some damage as the enemies try to come in the door. And there is always the various wrestling maneuvers that Leon does.
Yes, I've been going for mostly head shots. And yes, I try and use the knife whenever I get the chance. Problem here is that I only have pistol ammo. I will some times be able to pick up a few TMP rounds, but it's hit or miss. I few 4 shots with the rifle. So I really only have the pistol to use. I have the Red9 with some upgrades, but it still takes a few head shots to kill these guys. Knifing them at the choke point isn't easy depending on the type of enemy. They usually come 2 or 3 at a time. The guys that swing the mace thing are really hard to knife because they have long range. If I try and concentrate on knifing them I'll leave myself open to attack from other enemies. Also, at some point those dudes with the shields come busting into the room and you can't really knife them.

Like Ack said, shoot the heads and knees, this will allow you to use the diferent melee attacks that leon can do, and when the enemies are on the floor use the knife is a great way to keep ammo. If you end up backtracking buy more power to your guns, keep in mind that each time you upgrade the ammo capacity it will fill the ammo on the weapon.

If you feel risky and decide to stay in the open shoot the snipers first and then deal with the guys with shields.
The enemies respawn, that's what I'm counting on. I'm hoping they'll drop ammo. If I can backtrack to the merchant, hopefully any enemies I kill along the way will get me enough ammo.

Good to know that upgrading the clip capacity will fill the ammo, I didn't know that. I might have all the available upgrades though. And I know I can buy the first aid spray, so there's that too. Yeah, I think I'm gonna backtrack.

You have no idea how badly I wanted this to be the case in The Evil Within as well, for the clip capacity upgrades.

DENIED!

RE4 is definitely a good challenge the first time through, but damn TEW is on another level.

OK, I did some backtracking. I didn't have a capacity upgrade available for the shotgun, so I bought the riot gun. It's only 7 shots, but I didn't have shotgun ammo anyway and it's more powerful, so there's that. I didn't wanna upgrade the rifle anymore because I wanted to get the semi-auto rifle, but I bought the capacity upgrade anyway so I could get the ammo. I had no other capacity upgrades available. I wasn't too lucky with enemies dropping items, but I was able to get some ammo off them.

So now I'm in that back room and I think I did OK. There might be one or two stupid AI enemies that haven't made it back to me yet, but I killed every one off. I knifed as many people as I could. Really the main trouble was having fire power to get through those shield guys. The riot gun took care of them. Now I'm afraid to leave the room!

Dang it, had a dream today I found a weird NES. The odd thing is it was a red and blue one(don't know why) with some weird yellow accents. The oddest thing about the whole thing was that it looked like the front-loader but instead of pushing down on the carts so you could pull them in and out it had a eject button like a vhs player(and a flap you just removed when playing the thing because the eject was kinda under the flap for some odd reason) . Man if only that thing existed, even in my dreams I disappointed because I know I can't, don't and probably won't have anything like that

Ack wrote:The N64 version is a condensed version of Daikatana that removes both the Daikatana as a weapon and the AI partners. While it still starts poorly, I believe a few levels have been cut down too, so you get to the good stuff much faster. It's not a great game, there were some cool ideas in Daikatana, and most of them shine through on the N64. If you plan to play the game in single player and don't mind a controller, this port is probably a better choice.
By some awful luck N64 Daikatana was featured on James & Mike Mondays today.

So apparently the original Family Computer has one of those ancient RF switches that has an uncapped, stripped coax cable. I need to swing by Radio Shack at lunch tomorrow to get an end cap so I can hook it up to my TV.
