Like HARLAN COUNTY, the emotion is so raw and real that I have no qualms with saying I just don't want to watch BEST BOY today.
With UP and IRON GIANT, I know it is just a story. We're talking about actual deaths and life changing decisions that would make a Syrian insurgent cry like a little girl with a scraped knee.
I don't enjoy the anguish of others, and in both BEST BOY and HARLAN, the grief is all too real. And not m.moore "it's a documentary to fit my view point and to make money", these movies simple show real life. No scripts, no planned locations, and no pulling the punches of real life (yes, m.moore movies are scripted, planned, edited to death, and have an agenda to fit m.m's personal views).
I'm rambling, but I'm also suggesting that everyone here puts both Harlan and Best on their queue.
