Vinegar does an excellent job, but doesn't smell the best.

I just didn't like the double standard in you judging people while saying things like what you said there. That's all...
Thank you for making my point for me. You make asinine assumptions and see what you want.

What I was saying is that people who are old and suffering shouldn't have to, not "old people should die already". Half of these people can't even speak for themselves, and if they could they would most likely say "please let it end".

It breaks my heart to see our elders holding hands with their comatose wife/husbands in the hopes that they'll "snap out of it". My main point was sometimes letting go is much better than hanging on.
Oh Luke, you almost had me. But then you had to go completely overboard with that last part.

That was just too much...

Pure Comedy Gold nonetheless...

Anyways, don't want to derail the current conversation. Carry on guys...

So, exercise recomendations... I want to start, but I can't go to the gym. I have access to a treadmill and curl bar. Nothing else.

However, my asthma makes the treadmill a no go for very long. Most of the time I'm okay, but right now, with 103 degree weather, its that much worse. Push ups I can do, but my elbow pops. I'm not sure about that. My mom freaks when it pops, so I'm avoiding those until I know whether or not that is a problem.

Thanks for any advice that might come.

Don't you guys have to get your cars checked in the States? Where I live getting your car checked is obligatory by law every 2 years. But the cars I see on Pimp My Ride look like shit most of the time, and far from safe. And they can still drive those wrecks legally?...

What's up with that?...

We have to get them checked, but you really don't need that much for your car to be safe. Airbags and seatbelts is abou it. Never watched Pimp My Ride, but I imagine that it has a lot of stereo and hydraulics work. That stuff really doesn't effect much.

Plus, you go to the right place, and you can get a sticker for normal price with out them even checking it. One of our trucks is a complete piece of shit. Its safe enough, but things like check engine light and other pointless things keep it from getting the sticker. We take it to a dude, he gives us the inspection sticker without even seeing it. Its easy to get around.

This is all I need to keep in pretty damn good shape. I've actually stopped all but the running because of the physical labor at work.

Different states have different things. Some places you get safety equipment checked, some places with salted winters have frame rust checks. Some states check emissions, some don't. As Drifter pointed out, some places have crooked shops that will look the other way and give you an inspection sticker anyway.

Now as for lifted vehicles of various types where some idjit has constructed frame and suspension parts out of cardboard tubes? I don't understand how those are allowed either.

As I was driving home tonight I passed the empty lot down the street from my house that will serve as the parking area for the Brigestone Golf tournament and saw a line of at least 30 school buses.
The barren parking lot and the dead grass field (from the drought) along with a line of buses looks like something out of an end of the world movie or The Walking Dead.
Yet tomorrow it will be full of people with khaki shorts, polo shirts, and ms office armed smartphones...

So you guys can go to a regular garage for a car inspection.

Here we have to go to a place that only does inspections.

No way you can get past them easily...
