Kirby's Dream Land 3 is the Mega Man 7 to Kirby Super Star's Mega Man X.
The good but flawed game that takes a traditional approach and the turbo-charged game that takes more advantage of the 16-bit hardware.

Except MM7 is a heck of a lot more vibrant and lively than KDL3Gunstar Green wrote:Kirby's Dream Land 3 is the Mega Man 7 to Kirby Super Star's Mega Man X.

Awesome, I'm gonna have to replay Super Star.SNESdrunk wrote:Tuesday, August 18, 2015 - Kirby Super Star
I've only played it once, at that was about 10 years ago now, so I don't really remember much. The one thing that has stuck with me tho, however, is that it isn't too long. All the sub games combined, I mean, it doesn't take long to play through all of them. Is that a fact?

I agree with this. Well done.SNESdrunk wrote:Tuesday, August 18, 2015 - Kirby Super Star

Definitely less than 3 hours if you're new to the game, can be finished entirely in about 2 once you're familiar I'd imagineZiggy587 wrote:Awesome, I'm gonna have to replay Super Star.SNESdrunk wrote:Tuesday, August 18, 2015 - Kirby Super Star

EDIT: I meant 4 when I said 3 and 3 when I said 2. Need more coffee.

My 2 year old likes those Kirby videos.
I'm a big fan of the whole series. I agree that Superstar is so much better than part 3.
Kirby 64 is another favorite of mine, but it seems to get mixed reception.

I never understood why, it's a really charming game. I really like the power mixing and that they kept it on a 2D plane for the most part.BoneSnapDeez wrote:My 2 year old likes those Kirby videos.

It's the usual, solid Kirby experience that manages to be fun while being simple. I guess people wanted something more though.
