Molson Canadian

It's only 2pm and I'm feeling 8pm worn out. The Canadian lager was refreshing, although it would have gone better with a cigar (I'm done smoking until October).

More homebrew. This time it's my 6% White Chocolate and Vanilla stout. Made with 100% natural vanilla and home-roasted cacao nibs (expensive!!). Yes, it's a stout. I know stouts are typically black/dark. This one isn't. It's full bodied and rich, now that the vanilla has calmed down a bit, much more balanced. I wanted to brew a beer as close to white chocolate as possible. As far as I know, nobody has ever done a white chocolate stout before, especially not one as crystal clear and pale as mine. :)

That raspberry tea is great. I've heard that it's for "unwashed plebians," but I suppose that's what I am.

From this past weekend, my dish to pass at my buddy's 4th of July campout, I brought a keg of homemade American IPA and R2 kept it cold.

Orange juice with some sour cherry syrup and Gentleman's Jack in it. Looks a little brownish, but tastes good.

A Bloody Mary with a stalk of celery, three Spanish olives, and a dill pickle slice. Yes it's early, but my wife is at the beach, I have the house all to myself, and I'm going to relax.

Plus all the vitamins counterbalance the alcohol, right? Right.

Blue Sky "Natural" soda, orange creme flavor. This stuff tastes amazing and foams up really well. I'm not about to call it healthy, but the higher quality ingredients and real sugar do a lot for the flavor. This stuff is clear with no artificial colors. The lack of color bothers some people, but I think it's pretty cool.
