My wife and I started watching Breaking Bad after catching up on The Walking Dead. Just finished Season 4 - what a fucking finale! Really amazing series XD
Re: So what have you guys been watching lately?
Since my 3 year old son and 2 year old daughter dictate what's on TV (while they're up) we've been trying to identify all the kid friendly shows on Netflix. Low and behold, I ran across a couple of Sonic series of cartoons.
My son absolutely loves them, low-res and all. I was in high school when they came out so I never really noticed they were on. After a few episodes, I have to say I enjoy them. Sonic seems to have his signature 'tude but Dr. Robotnick surprised me with how diabolical he actually is (I was half expecting a bumbling Gargamel type villain).
Anyone else watching these?

I remember watching that one when I was younger. I loved it. Pretty sure there was another, separate series on at some point, but I never got into that one. I found this one more fun.Nutty wrote:

I'm wondering why that pic shows the satam logo but the characters are from adventures of sonic the hedgehog. . .
I have satam on dvd, it holds up acceptably.

I liked the one on ABC. But not the one pictured there with the robot chicken. That one just came off as goofy to me.

That is the only show in recent memory where I could NOT just watch one episode at a time. I went through marathons on netflix. There's something about the writing on that show. It's easy to get caught up in it and hard to stop watching. Watching Breaking Bad on its original one episode a week schedule would have been torture for mexan_racketBOY_fan wrote:My wife and I started watching Breaking Bad after catching up on The Walking Dead. It's an impressive skill to make a show that never hits a bad episode, boring story arc, throwaway episode, etc. I've always said what impresses me most about Breaking Bad is its consistency. There are no lulls on that show or boring moments. It ALWAYS leaves you wanting more

Yeah, I'm impressed with BB's consistency. The one episode that I didn't care for was "The Fly".Gamerforlife wrote: It's an impressive skill to make a show that never hits a bad episode, boring story arc, throwaway episode, etc. I've always said what impresses me most about Breaking Bad is its consistency. I remember watching Prison Break which was pretty good the first two seasons but then got pretty bad afterwards.

I kinda had a thing for her back in the day. Especially those college episodes.
