I dunno, seems pretty awesome to me already...
What more would you want them to add?

I demand more pooping.

Re: Castle Crashers - Leave out the Hype
It was mentioned in an earlier post that it was silly that instead of double-tapping, the default movement is running. It was kind of wierd that Behemoth had an early build of Castle Crashers at the XBLA booth at PAX08, and the default movement was a walk, and you had to double tap the directional pad to run.
Odd that they decided to alter that.

Re: Castle Crashers - Leave out the Hype
Here's one that sucks!
I was in a 4 player party online and we all got booted. Xbox froze up for every person in the match upon further research. Also 2 of us lost all of our inventory including pets, money, and weapons. We remained at our current level and stats. Too bad, I hope they get around to fixing the little stuff.
Didn't stop me from playing though, game is too good. This needs to be on DS with Wi-fi

Re: Castle Crashers - Leave out the Hype
Played it last night and I gotta say, it is one hell of a game. In the beginning it was standard beat em' up far but when those pooping forest animals appeared, all negative thoughts I could have about the game disappeared. The only thing that bothers me is that I'm going to have to unlock all the characters four times so my friends can use them.

Some of the stuff they did with the sound design is very cool. There's multiple boss themes and the game doesn't overuse voice samples like a lot of beat'em ups do. This is a game you appreciate a little more with each playthrough. I'm noticing more and more cool little details in the backgrounds too. Lots of visual activity in the game

Re: Castle Crashers - Leave out the Hype
I'm not the biggest fan of toilet humor, but I have to admit that the site of a cute, little bambi-like deer being propelled across the screen by the rocket like power of its explosive diarrhea is amusing. It's kind of subversive, and the fact that its showing me the way through the chase sequence is a bonus.
So I went back to my Alien Hominid character as it seems a crime I haven't beaten the game with him. I love the character build he has because it's pretty true to his character from the original Alien Hominid game. He has no points in health because we all remember how easy he was to kill in his own game. No points in strength since he's just a wimpy guy with a gun. I maxed out his magic so he has all of his gun blasts available to him and lots of points in speed as he's used to dodging lots of stuff. I just got past the desert levels with him. I'm playing him just like he should be. Dodging everything and blasting like crazy

Nice! You seem to get the most out of each character type.

Yeah, it's fun to experiment. That's really what gives a game like this replayability. I keep picking up new tricks on each playthrough. My favorite character so far is red knight. I think his lightning spell is the best in the game when you max it out and it's just wicked cool.ZenLogikos wrote:Nice! You seem to get the most out of each character type.
