http://www.cdkeys.com usually has 1 year of Gold for around $45. I've bought from them before. I believe they accept Paypal.
Also I recommend Ori and the Blind Forest. It's available on disc now too.

Re: Questions about Xbox One
I realized that I've been using this thing pretty much daily either for gaming or watching stuff, and I've yet to actually pop a physical disc in it.

Yeah, that site is actually legit. I thought it was a scam at first, but I tried it out just to see, and it's actually a legitimate thing.

Re: Questions about Xbox One
I think I have bought something there before. It is a horribly sketchy name, tho haha.

You can also just look for a card elsewhere, they go on sale often enough. Available on Amazon for $49.99 for instance. Just in general, for XBL or PSN, buying a card tends to be the way to save a few bucks.

The keys being valid and the site being 'legit' are two separate things. Like G2A, I would personally encourage people to stay away from those grey market sites, all they do is hurt developers.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

For games maybe, but I think buying subscription cards for XBL and PSN are okay from sites like this.

question about Destiny:
If I buy the vanilla Destiny physical game, can I later download the expansions to add on to it, or would I have to actually re-buy the full new version of the game that includes those expansions?
I'm pretty used to how PC expansions work, so just trying to get this right.

Re: Questions about Xbox One
Taken King requires you to pretty much rebuy the game
. The kicker is the Taken king DLC is only a code in the case so buying a used copy just nets you the vanilla game
. Looks like there is now an option to buy it separately in a combo with the first two expansion for $20 without the base game but you can buy the physical version for that with the base game
.
As for Rise of Iron after googling it looks like it can be bought separately supposedly but I couldn't find it in the Microsoft store they say it's $30 though so you might as well just buy the Collection that has all the DLC. It's only $40 most places and if you have GCU at Bestbuy it's $32 after 20% off.
Edit: Once again the collection version w/ rise of iron is just all the DLC on a voucher and the vanilla game on disc so don't buy it used. Bungie has been really shitty with the way they've published these expansions in my opinion
. Even a season pass is preferable to basically making fans rebuy a game retail twice
.
