How did you lose them? Because there's a brand new way to lose them in WotC that is extra rage filled.

I don't think I've seen what you're referencing?

It involves the third Chosen; you'll know it when it happens to you.

I had a soldier kidnapped last night. That's not what you meant, right?

Anyway, I'm like 8 or 9 hrs into the Chosen campaign and I have to say that this has got to be the most difficult iteration of XCOM now. There's so many balls in the air at all times. And the titular Chosen showing up and ruining your day when you think you've got something under control is stressful.

None of this is complaint, though. I'm having a great - if sometimes frustrating - time with this game. But damn, I think if I were to go back to Enemy Unknown it would feel so quaint and casual at this point.

No, that's not what I'm talking about. And I did try going back to EW after my WotC playthrough to screw around with MECs and it was pretty quaint in comparison. Even the meld timer wasn't an issue.

when I played vanilla XCOM 2, I didn't bother to rename my soldiers. In a way, that really took something away from the experience. So I'm making an effort to now name them all again. It turns out that Donatello and Deadpool work well together.

On a completely unrelated note, now I really need to see this team-up happen (and not a full-on TMNT/Deadpool extravaganza, but specifically Donatello and Deadpool). There's a lot of potential for material there!

So this is awesome... 13 hrs in the game crashed and deleted all my saves. Google says this is common with Ironman on all platforms for War of Chosen. Lovely.

I've heard of that. I personally didn't have that issue, but apparently enough people do that a lot of people are doing Honestman playthroughs instead.
