So jealous.. my copy hasn't even arrived yet, but should be here tomorrow.
I agree that (for me) Xenoblade on Wii had a slow start and seemed to throw a lot at you. Once you get used to the systems it's not bad though. Expecting the same - but with a step up - for the sequel, so none of the negativity I've seen so far really hurts my excitement.

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles X
Little jealous since I don't get my copy until late this week or sometime next week, but I have a few games I want to play before it anyway so I guess it works out.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles X
Got mine today and trying so hard not to crack it open. Problem is though for being new and i don't know if part of it is me or something but there is some slight(and it is very very slight) wear on the box. I'll probably just make it worse so probably all the more of a reason to take the stuff out and store it safely somewhere else...and that usb is pretty heavy for a flash drive(which it looks like i will have to find a way to pull up windows 8 or something on my computer and try to get around the drm if I want the music off the drive...). I think i may just crack it open and be done with it(and just use pokemon as my work game if I can just remember to take it with me when I go on break or lunch which I've been meaning to do but just forget...).

I know haha. To be honest, when it comes to me playing games these days, I'm like a kid with ADHD.Xeogred wrote:All that hype really died down quickly for you... lol.Reprise wrote:No, not yet. I think you get them a bit later into the game.Exhuminator wrote:Wow that sounds like a lot of not fun.
Have you even got a Skell yet?
Although, to be honest, the game has me feeling a little bit fatigued and I'm not sure when I'll return to it.
Xenoblade Chronicles just sent me back to 16 bit gaming. I've been playing on the SNES and Mega Drive. It's my safe haven lol. Back when games were much simpler.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is AWESOME, but it's so big, that I find myself spending my time just roaming around going "holyshithatsadinosaur" over and over again, so I've got more play time than some of my friends but am several levels lower.
Considering that it only runs at 720p, though, it's a beautiful game. I'm thoroughly pleased with it all around.

I haven't yet done any of the actual multiplayer yet. I've done squad battles, I'd love to put together a squad of racketboy peoples though. Racketblades anyone?

Glad I'm not the only one...these indigens are amazing to look at even if half them want to beat your brains out...ElkinFencer10 wrote:Xenoblade Chronicles X is AWESOME, but it's so big, that I find myself spending my time just roaming around going "holyshithatsadinosaur" over and over again, so I've got more play time than some of my friends but am several levels lower.![]()

I'd love to if i wasn't getting my butt handed to me in chapter 3. I'm trying to grind now(which i had to fast travel back to where i installed that first probe because I had no clue where the heck I wasBlu wrote:I haven't yet done any of the actual multiplayer yet. Re: Xenoblade Chronicles X
Haha, I told one of my college buddies yesterday that the game is basically "Run Away Like A Bitch Simulator 2015" for me because I'll be like "Ooo, I'm gonna explore and install some probes," and the next thing I know, there's a level 80 monkey with four arms and two legs that's 150 feet tall trying to eat me. It's SO much fun, though.darsparx wrote:Glad I'm not the only one...these indigens are amazing to look at even if half them want to beat your brains out...ElkinFencer10 wrote:Xenoblade Chronicles X is AWESOME, but it's so big, that I find myself spending my time just roaming around going "holyshithatsadinosaur" over and over again, so I've got more play time than some of my friends but am several levels lower.![]()

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles X
I know exactly which one you're talking about and that thing is annoying....i've managed to avoid it this long and i plan on keeping it that way for quite awhile. Only RPG I've played where running is probably a good idea a good chunk of the time....I've only made it to Chapter 4 so far. Was kinda a pain trying to get my self to blade lvl 3 just so I could get that mechanical lvl 3 just to get the majority of the towers I needed(and even then I'm still trying to find a way into noctilium without guides or otherwise and I'm so lost...I think I found it once then had my brains beat out by some of those siudes, grexes or whatever they're called...lvl 13 or 14 vs 20 not fun even with 4 party members
Edit: This game so feels like it nearly requires the pro controller though. It's so awkward using the pad especially since I keep wanting to hold it with my thumbs on the z buttons instead of l and r

Working on Chapter 3 right now, and so far I'm enjoying the game.
