This shit bugs me so much. I don't give a fuck what you think, Codsworth, I NEEDED to kill off that caravan merchant and take everything he had.
This is why Dogmeat is man's best friend. I heard there's dog armor floating around. It suppose to make him look bad ass but doesn't actually increase defense. I have to track it down.

I discovered that if a companion wants to talk to you because your affection got up high enough, you don't do the conversation right away, then you do something they hate, it will cancel the conversation. Which was a bit annoying because I was avoiding the conversation because it seemed to be messing up some of the triggers in the final quest, and now that I finished I'd have to go out and grind more affection to get the conversation back.

Yeah no that's too much nonsense. Its like real life: I have to work real hard to get to a point that I can converse with someone or get on their good side but as soon as I do something bad, I get judged and all the good gets washed away.

I'll stick with my dog tyvm.

You get permanent perks for maxing out a companions trust (even when you dismiss them it's still there). So it doesn't seem like a bad idea to try and max some out, doesn't seem all that hard... but Curie isn't particularly good compared to the people I had before.

I still think Codsworth is the best by far. The voice, uses no inventory space for anything he needs, has a flamethrower, blades, lasers, etc. All that destruction on top of such a polite attitude, it doesn't get much better.

Can you romance Codsworth?

You cannot. The character to romance needs to use the standard human model. On the plus side, there are no gender or polygamy barriers, so you can turn your companions into a giant harem at the Red Rocket Truck Stop.

While having a legendary combat shotgun with explosive rounds sounds like a bad ass thing on paper, when fighting an Assaultron in an enclosed space proves it highly impractical.

You either walk away with crippled limb damage to all of your limbs or walk away dead. All this because the splash damage hurts you too and those Assaultrons like to get real close to you.

Mods forthcoming. Also Red Rocket Truck Stop is a fitting name for a place where said giant harem would be located.

Sorry for the double post.

Did anyone noticed the Christmas lights and trees around diamond city during the in game calendar of December? I noticed it on the 23rd and was gone after the 31st or 1st.

I enjoy the Fallout games, but not for their poor shooting, pointless scavenging and junk hoarding. No, the stories have some interesting elements, that's why I enjoy them, which is why I'm thankful for the console cheating system, so I could play them as standard FPS games.
