I would love to have a micro home though, it would only be something to have for like 4 years to save a ton of money and then buy a amazing house.

Thoughts?
No hate on the Mac Air. If it works for you, awesome.

Microhomes are great if you dont collect anything, dont have people over, have no issues with the toilet choices, and have a way to get utilities - living in someones backyard for example. I highly recommend going to an RV show or store and walking around in a 30 footer. If you are comfortable in one, then sure do it.

I genuinely love my iMac, Macbook Pro, iPad, iPhone, and Apple TVs.
But then again I am a sheep. I guess me loving Apple products is to be expected. Baaa.

Yeah Niode. I didn't even want one till I saw it in person. Fell in love with it.

The iMac 5k is a hell of a deal all things considered. No it doesn't have the 99% Adobe RGB colour gamut of Dell's monitor but it also packs a rather impressive computer on the inside for the same price! Only complaint I have is that there is no Target Display Mode in any capacity so once the machine is done it's done. I'll stick with my 27" ACD and MBP combo unless I can magically afford a Mac Pro at some point.

I ended up with this very nice MacBook Pro due to a friend not giving a shit as well. Bought it from him for $450 and Apple Depot's motherboard replacement ran $300 so in total $700 for the high end late '11 build. Of course it has a high risk of failure due to some GPU solder issues but for the price I can stomach another repair before I'd lose money selling it. 8) I threw in a 512GB Samsung 850 Pro and 16GB of RAM and it's pretty great.

I've gone back and forth with Apple products a lot. Last time I owned a Mac was 2010ish. When they first launched Lion I wasn't particularly happy but I've found I really like Yosemite. They still have a build quality that surpasses most of the mobile PC market with the exceptions of Razer in my use (seriously the Blade is a nice machine). I wish they were quicker about their platform revisions though. I also hope they don't continue on their seemingly endless quest to end the use of the dedicated GPU in their mobile line up. I have a feeling that's a side effect of their desire to keep making things thinner and thinner.

Being in the army im used to tight spaces and living very simple, I think I could do pretty well roughing it in a micro home. As for having people over, I dont like to have people over anyways..lol I go to their place.

And the mac is on point 8)
