Ha!

You people have it so easy.

I remember way back when, When I have to use Q-basic to hack into kremlin!

I only have 2kb of ram and I still escape with the intel.

So, I just got my Windows notification that I can upgrade to 10. As far as I can tell, it came via a drive by download when I had my browser open. Yeah. Not with a Windows Update, which is what I thought it would be. I'm on Windows 7, btw. It's a notification down in the system tray. When I click on it, a window opens up and tells me that I can upgrade to 10 "for a limited time" and asks me to reserve my copy now so that I can download it when it's released.

I think it came as part of a prior update and now that it's June the tray item actually started up. My guess is if you opt in now then when it releases it'll automatically kick off the download, then prompt you to do the upgrade once everything's downloaded.

I'm fairly certain that I'm gonna upgrade right away. I enjoyed the tech build a lot. It's a no-brainer for my laptop. My gaming PC though, I'm wondering if I should be an early adopter or not. I'm leaning towards yes though.

I'll probably be an early adopter assuming that the Xbox One to PC streaming works well. With only one HDTV in the house, my wife can watch something on the TV while I play the Xbox One from my computer monitor.

I have Win10 on my Surface Pro and it seems great so far. I love that there is no longer this odd dichotomy between a touch/non-touch experience. Seems more unified.

Noticed this little bugger today. Must have been added in the last update.
