Eh, I don't think it's horrible at all. In fact, it's pretty fun for what it is. And while simple, it is very fun against friends. Learning to read your opponent and getting the right timing to beat them. Honestly, it's well done. Not going to replace BlazBlue as my favorite 2D fighter though.
Just finished Assassin's Creed IV tonight. Not bad. Now to decide whether to start Metro: Last Light or The Witcher 2.

The Witcher 2 is glorious. I pick that one.ZenErik wrote:Eh, I don't think it's horrible at all. In fact, it's pretty fun for what it is. And while simple, it is very fun against friends. I play it off and on. I haven't actually finished it yet. I'm about halfway or so through.
Older. Not wiser.

Who the hell are these people buying these trading cards on steam? I just put all mine up for sale and my phone won't stop making noise from all the emails telling me that I've sold something on steam. I got 2.23 now
Also anyone planning on picking up the Dayz stand alone? I've been hearing mixed things but I think I might get it tomorrow just because I find glitches in games more funny then annoying usually.

@Flex: I feel like $30 is too steep for me to want to mess w/ DayZ right now.

I've heard of it, yeah. As the article mentions, it works on 7, and even Vista as well, and I recall the tip going around for Win7 at least.noiseredux wrote: @anyone-rocking-Win8: Have y'all heard of GodMode?

Ill be honest flex, I buy them sometimes. If it is a game I like, instead of trading I just buy them. I pay for them by selling cards for sets I dont feel like completing. The question I have is who pays a premium for a "foil" card when there is no difference?
Re: General PC game discussion thread
Yea I'm probably going to grab it but I'm holding out to see if it goes up for sale during the steam holiday sale. If it doesn't I can either just keep playing the mod or plop down the virtual 30 for it. I'm impulsive so who knows.noiseredux wrote:@Flex: I feel like $30 is too steep for me to want to mess w/ DayZ right now.

I'd probably throw down $10 to try DayZ. Will still be occupied with The Witcher 2 for another week or two. Then maybe Metro Last Light. Then who knows?
Kingdom Come: Deliverance looks interesting to me. RPG without magic, monsters, and other supernatural stuff? Supposed to be historical. Certainly different than other RPGs I've played.

Erik you should check out Strike Vector I think it should be on your radar. There was a story about it on destructoid yesterday with an amazing video.

Ended up getting a new Ducky keyboard w/ Cherry MX black switches. Will have to test it out when I get home from work.
