HoN has more depth. What's the most important thing in a competitive game? Having as much depth and as high skill cap as possible.
Erm, the most important thing in a competitive game is having lots of competition. Video game competitions are almost entirely meta based.
Aside from that, have you played HoN recently? It's hardly a game with a lot of depth.

When I was a kid I would definitely play RPGs, Sonic, etc. for 8-12 hours a day and forget to eat, sleep, etc. Didn't even need to use the bathroom.
But I found that that sort of delirium happens more with online games. Diablo 1 and 2. FreeSpace 2. MechWarrior. Etc. Games I used to play online on PC all day back before I had many responsibilities and work every day.
I don't play online as much as I used to and definitely prefer local multiplayer when possible. Nothing quite like playing w/ friends in the same room. Which is what I am planning to do w/ Diablo 3 on PS3. And what me and some friends have done w/ Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate this year. There are certainly times when we've played for 6, 8, 10 hours straight without thinking about food or much of anything else.
You guys are nuts. I can't do anything for more than two hours at a time, video games included.
GameFAQs is an awesome site.
I watch stuff like the VMAs only to see Taylor Swift. <3 <3 <3
Strip out the message boards and you're telling the truth. Gamefaqs guides have helped me countless times, whenever I need to look up a release date for any game in any region they've got it, they keep a list of upcoming releases for all active consoles, and they've got the best large database of user reviews I know.

I love gamefaqs. While I do not use the walkthroughs very often, it is a great resource for researching video games. Its collection of box scans and screenshots is second to none, and its links to user and "professional" reviews generally provide a lot of information on a game's quality. (They are also useful for discovering games that might have been unfairly panned by "professional" critics such as Golden Axe: Beast Rider.) Finally, the "codes" section for each game is great for determining if a game has some appealing special features, such as the inclusion of all three original Splatterhouse games in the 360/PS3 reboot.
Yea. I don't really use walkthroughs for 'gamefaqs', but sometimes I look for threads on the forums that might be relevant to any questions I have about whatever game. Usually pretty helpful.
Some people post their translations patchets on there as well, a friend asked me to find a patch for FF X-2 international and the only place to find it was there.
Also new poll on the site kirby is winning on big boss.

Don't criticize WoW for being boring if your favorite games aren't fun enough to keep you entertained for more than two hours at a time
