Ok, i'm mostly setup...really n00b question. My sensor bar is "glued" to our DVD player - do I need to pry it off and bring it in? Or w/o sensor bar am I still able to move around the screen.

You need it to at least start up the game. Beyond that, I use my Wavebird to play.

The wiimote doesn't have the pointer function without the sensor bar.
