If there is indeed evidence that strongly suggests that Vega tried to manipulate the outcome of his eBay auction, then I'm genuinely interested in hearing it.

So far he just seems like a regular guy who was lucky enough to run into a rare console. And now he's trying to sell it for as much as he can get. I can't say I wouldn't do the same myself.

:lol: that was my reaction as well with the lid not closing.
who knows maybe he doesn't want to be seen as "tampering" with the unit. I dunno.
