After finding out about George Carlin's death in 2008, my mother shuddered, shed a lone tear and muttered, "But...he was my write in candidate."

I can't vote, but I'll throw my .02 cents in...

Looking at it all, I don't like either candidate. Romney is out of touch with the poorer classes, and Obama got lucky enough to grow up on the good side of wellfare. (Or, he thinks he did.) Personally, I can't see either of them understanding my problems. My family gets too much money for wellfare, but still doesn't manage to get as many niceties as the people who are on wellfare, which is bullshit. The only people that should be on wellfare are those physically incapable of work. Everyone else needs to get off of their lazy ass and do some damned work.

I have a HUGE dislike of how much they focus on "reforming" the middle east. During the most recent debate, I couldn't help but get aggravated by the candidates thinking they can force equal rights for women over there. You can't. Unlike America, who attempts to separate state and religion, they have a governments and general idealism strongly based on religious principles. We can't force them to change that in any fair way. We have to see it from their point of view, which is something nobody seems willing to do.

Finally, I'll give a little analogy. America is a parent telling other countries how to deal with their children, while America's children are doing drugs and getting knocked up at 12. Not the best analogy, but one that makes my point.

Some people seem to forget that things didn't go well WORLDWIDE. We were and still are in a global crisis. Not only that, but the fundamental way our world economy is working it's only going to get worse. Business is getting automated more and more due to technological advancement. WE WILL NOT CREATE MORE JOBS. IT'S JUST NOT LOGICAL LOOKING AT THE WAY THINGS ARE GOING. This means big companies save A TON of money with less employees. Taxing big companies more is the only logical thing to do...

Giving everyone a job is just not feasable...

Of course. But that doesn't mean part of my hard earned money should go to them. When I see someone in a brand new car that weighs over two hundred pounds, wearing clothes that cost more than all of the clothing in my closet, come into Micky D's and buy two burgers and a coke with a wellfare card, I can't help but get pissed. There's no reason for that.

Just a complaint of mine. I think the government should only help those who truly need it. It happens, but we have too many free loaders hopping on the train. I'm also tired of people who came from college expecting a good job out of the gate. They have this idea that going to college automatically boosts how much money they deserve, along with the quality of work they deserve. It doesn't mean shit though. Nobody is above cleaning the shit out of a Walmart toilet besides the Good Lord himself.

That's solved easily, just need to do what the commies did. Have the government hire a group of people to dig a hole and another group to fill it up. It's not productive, but atleast they'll be working. Oh, and labor camps for the enemies of the state. That way you can have a theoretical unemployment rate of 0

The only way to solve this in the long run (decades) is birth control. Less people, lower prices as a result of lower demand, and jobs for everyone. That is basically the only way to balance things out making the rich less rich and middle class , lower middle class and lower class richer...
