And noise, you've already stated you have trouble with the space, so just stop right there, look back with nostalgic fondness at the handheld and offer us information and advice, but let that be it and go play some Dreamcast games or whatever is your main console right now.

I said I have trouble with space? No way. Now that I have a house and my own game room I have tons of space. Not wanting to horde stuff I'm not playing isn't a space concern. It's just trying to enjoy the items I buy more immediately.

I do find the NGPC library very collectible. But like I said, I've also tried to shy away from collecting just to collect.

Money is more an issue with holidays coming up. I woulnd't be buying any games now anyway.

Right. The handheld itself. Or the screen really. I love the shape and feel and size of the system. But you're right, I'm more prone to play a backlit system like 3DS lately. But the games - the games were all good that I tried.

The NGPC and the games are tiny. How much space could they possibly take up, anyways?

well I only collect CIB... but still! My game room has tons of shelves. Here's one of them:

And the wall opposite that one is entirely shelf space -- four closets that make up the entire wall.

Sorry, getting off-topic.

Yeah, I should still try to resist getting back into NGPC collecting cuz I have a lot of DS games on my 'backlog.'

Actually, I really like how you're using those controller boxes for spacers. It looks nice and clean.

My shelves are getting really full...

I only have one shelf right now, and I have 2 shelves worth of stuff crammed onto it. I really need to buy more, but I'll be moving out in the middle of next year and it seems like a waste.

that's kinda where I'm at. I have stuff packed up in boxes now, which I don't like, but this house won't forever be my residence. Hope to be out within 1.5 years.

I've considered wall-mounted shelves, but I don't own this home and the landlord doesn't like the idea. Oh well.

Maybe I just have too many games.

I should prob get around to taking legit game room pics soon. I've been meaning to do that for months.

Anyway, back to NGPC talk. I must say that while I was focused on collecting it, I was always really interested in getting a CIB Sonic bundle. I'm sure I've mentioned enough times that there was one at my local place for $40 and I was like "damn, I should get a NGPC, that's a great price.... I'll sleep on it." So Then I decided it was a great price and I SHOULD get it. I went back the next week and it was gone. I asked the guy when did it sell, and he said "like 12 hrs ago." :? So if I were to ever stumble up that bundle for such a good price again, it would be pretty impossible to pass it up.

Impulse buy is the way to go. Don't ever sleep on it. I once "slept on" a $50 Vectrex...

That Sonic bundle does look pretty sweet. I never even knew the NGPC had "bundles."

I think the Sonic one is the only US bundle. Japan had way more. In fact, my Japanese system was a bundle deal w/ some Pachi game. But there's a lot (like, A LOT) of JPN bundles.

The Sonic one in US just seems awesome to me as, well, it's Sonic. So it's a Sega pack-in with an SNK system. Which just furthered the whole NGPC as DC's little sister thing.

Also, as a CIB collector I feel like having Sonic bundled kills two birds w/ one stone, as it feels like I'd have a complete SYSTEM and a complete SONIC (variant).
