First game of 2012 (only going to post games I intend to keep):
Far Cry 2, PC. I loved the first, and I saw it for only $10 at BestBuy, so I'm going to give this one a whirl. Some people don't like it, but it's cheap and supposedly has a long single-player, which is rare in an FPS game. I'll post my thoughts on it later.

Re: Games Acquired 2012
I've started 2012 with some DSiWare and 3DS eshop purchases.
Castle of Magic
Starship Defense
Dark Void Zero
X-Scape
Pushmo
Shantae: Risky's Revenge
Mario vs Donkey Kong: Minis March Again
Soul of Darkness
Little Red Riding Hood Zombie BBQ
Mighty Switch Force
Zelda Four Swords Anniversary Edition(got it for free)
Quite a bit of interesting stuff, I was so used to getting stuff on PSN and Xbox Live Arcade. It's been fun to have another digital service to sample.

I am curious: why all those versions of Tiger Woods? Do they feature significantly different courses from year to year? II do want to pick up the new one with Augusta at some point, but generally I have found the series to be too similar from year to year.
Re: Games Acquired 2012
dunno. i've been on this sequel kick lately. If i have one, i have to have the rest. Besides, they' were all had for pretty cheap, so i felt it was a win-win. Not too much is different from year to year tho. I really haven't played beyond '05. It looks like they revamped the putting system in some of the latter titles. hope it's not too tricky to get used to. I'm patiently waiting for '12 to drop in price. IIRC, they're are 12 courses on the disk, and the other 14 are DLC which received mixed reactions.dsheinem wrote:
