Finished Arrival, few more side missions and I can jump into ME 3. Just have to say, Arrival was complete and utter crap. Seriously. THIS was their last DLC before Mass Effect 3? This garbage? Wow....just, wow.

Maybe I can load up an old save and play through Lair of the Shadow Broker again just to remind me that, yes, Bioware can actually make GOOD DLC.

Yeah, Arrival was kinda weak. The actual events are important for the beginning of ME3, though.

I still need to hit up the ME2 DLC someday, hopefully a big massive sale goes on for them again and I'll just grab them all.

You've never played any of them? I'll just say that Lair of the Shadow Broker is easily the best of them all. It's probably the second most epic mission of the game, after the actual final mission itself, and you get substantial rewards for finishing it. After playing it, I can't imagine it actually not being a part of the main game. If ever there was a "must play" DLC for a game, this is it.

Kasumi's Stolen Memory is the second best DLC IMO after the Shadow Broker one, gives you a handy weapon and a cool new character who has two unique combat abilities that are both rather useful. Plus, it's kind of fun to play through as the whole thing is well written and entertaining. The Normandy Crash Site DLC is nothing special, but functions well as a sentimental piece. It seems like a silly thing to have to pay for though. You can finish it in like five minutes.

Arrival is, from a gameplay perspective, crap. It consists of a laughable attempt at stealth based gameplay, which ultimately doesn't matter as you can run and gun through it anyway if you don't care about the stealth based achievement. This if followed up by a really stupid, protect annoying NPC segment. Then it all ends with a cheap as f*** battle pitting Shepherd ALONE against waves of enemies. Though there is no penalty for losing the battle, other than missing out on an achievement. Playing a Mass Effect game without a squad is NOT fun

What DLC and changed do you people think Bioware should do. I would personally like a Krogan DLC mission and character as they had one on your team in the first two, I miss my tank character. Here is a link to the official DLC and ending suggestions on bioware's site.

Well, I officially start Mass Effect 3 for real today. I finished everything I wanted to do in Mass Effect 2 and acquired ALL achievements. Now here's the thing, I got so used to playing ME 2 on Insanity mode that I think I might do something in ME 3 that I rarely ever do when playing a new game for the first time. I'm going to take a chance and do my first ME 3 playthrough on Insanity with a fully upgraded, level 30 Shepherd imported from ME 2. Hope I don't regret it. Course, I could always bump the difficulty down if I do, but knowing me, that's not gonna happen. If I start on Insanity, I'm going to stubbornly stick to it no matter what.

My import Shepherd is full paragon, not counting the Renegade points that Bioware basically forces on you in ME 2 (which is really lame). He romanced Liara and also pursued Kelly Chambers. After much thought, I really think those two are unquestionably the best choices for my Shepherd. I'm importing a Sentinel, not sure if I want to stick with that class though. I hear Adepts are pretty badass in ME 3 while Sentinels have been toned down. Hmmm, decisions, decisions.

Finished the game just now... BAH!!! Bioware's writers have officially ruined the trilogy for me. The outrage is sort-of justified in light of what I just witnessed.

I've already braced myself for a horrible ending. I'm just going to try and enjoy the ride....and not worry about the horrible crash waiting for me at the end.
