I don't really know how Olivia Munn is, I only know her from her 2 appearances in Kieths vids, but she seems so damn wooden!

Also I notice that the Yelle vid is back! excellent, that really makes me smile

She was a brainless host on G4TV, usually on Attack of the Show. lol, I don't totally dislike her, but she obviously didn't know half of what she was talking about.

I can't stand her for a number of reasons, but the most prominent ones being:

- Humorless performances on the Daily Show.
- Her TERRIBLE Chun-Li cosplay... She even had a professional hairdresser and costume designer for f*$k's sake an' she still managed to screw it up!
- Former host on G4; acting as if she knew anything about gaming.
- Speaking of acting, she can't do it! I mean look at her craptastic performance when Nathan asked her to hand him the Dreamcast 2 at the VGAs (see source below).

This. I'd apparently disliked several of her skits independently without realizing they were all by the same person -- and this was before I viewed either Dreamcast 2 segment. After seeing both of her cameos in Keith's videos with my husband I said, "Who is this Olivia Munn person anyway?" My husband replies, "Don't you remember? She was the one in that Daily Show skit we hated last night. And that other one too. And she was also the person who wore that totally inaccurate Sailor Moon costume to ComicCon that annoyed you so much."

I find her type of "hot woman who knows nothing about being nerdy but is still pandering to nerds under the guise of being an authority (and getting paid for it)" trope to be extremely aggravating. It implies one of two things (and possibly both): that there are no nerdy girls out there anywhere so they needed to hire an actress to fake it, or that no guys will care that she is totally unqualified simply because she's attractive. The first is insulting to geeky women by reinforcing the stereotype that they don't exist, and the second is insulting to geeky men by suggesting that they're too shallow object.

For the record I'm not saying anyone is shallow if they think Olivia Munn is attractive. It's specifically because she's pretending to be in-the-know about video games while obviously getting by only as fanservice that bothers me so much.

I'm happy to see that a lot of people here don't buy her routine -- and I love that Nathan and Felicia Day wound up salvaging what could have been a ruined bit.

Oh yes. Felicia Day looked and responded exactly how I expected: Beautiful and full of class. It must have taken a lot for Nathan to stay in character for that interview, as Felicia is...well she's awesome.
