I finished it without using a continue myself.

The collecting isn't really that terrible. If I remember they aren't even hidden - the most you will get is some that are hard to reach. You will need to replay some levels to catch some you may have missed. That is it. You are still entitled to not liking that of course, but I don't think it is fair to call this game a collect-a-thon.

Well, being bullheaded is what got me killed dozens of times, so tonight I said screw it and deleted my file.

I started a fresh one, and its going much better now. I'm not trying to rush my way through the levels anymore. I've still had a few stupid ass deaths, some my fault and others I'd say, not so much, but its fine.

I've been keeping a decent stock of lives, and I completely cleared Dream Forest of all cages, so I never have to go back.

On to Band Land!

I'm not much enjoying this game, I feel like the game is a little cheap with some of its design. I lost all my lives in bandland, and I'm thinking of restarting myself. There's been a few times where I've been unsure whether to drop down a pit because it's where I'm meant to go or whether to avoid it because its a death pit. That really bugs me.

I really want to like the game. Some of the levels are quite fun, the music is nice (when it plays, the ambient forest noises are kinda dull) and the visuals are lovely. The good hasn't quite accounted for the bad for me though, its so damn frustrating. XD

P.S. anyone got any tips for killing those annoying bastard green flies in Bandland? They dodge everything I throw at them, and fly up and hit me if I try to jump over them.

I'm not sure, but I think you jump and punch so the fist hits them in the back as it returns. I might be wrong though.
EDIT: It could just be multiple punches.

This game just got really strange.
I was in the Picture City which has the theme of pencils, erasers, pens, ink etc, when you reach the boss, all of sudden you are on the moon and a flying washing machine comes outta nowhere. This lady jumps out of the washing machine with a fish bowl on her head. She got this pizza doe roller she swings around like a lightsabre, and near the end she starts shooting laser beams out of the pizza doe roller while hiding behind the washing machine.

Not quite sure were the developers thought this fit in with the Pencil and eraser theme...but maybe I am missing somethin?

Methinks I need to restart this game and hold on to both my lives and continues more dearly. The difficulty is very aggravating when you are out of continues and down to one life.

Do it. It pays off, believe me.

The game plays differently than I originally expected. Now that I'm used to it, I'm playing much better and having a lot more fun.

Trust me also when I say that you will quickly catch up to and surpass wherever you left off when you started over.

Damn I'm behind on this, meant to get it right away this month but uh... I blame FFIV.

I'll have to get it soon. Seems pretty hit or miss from what you guys are saying though, haha.

I think its a hit. :)

Like I said, I had to adapt to it more than other platformers.
