i am happy to hear you actually use it, are they still good to browse?
is it even possible to go on youtube with them?
is it possible to have wifi?

Did any of the internal parts malfunction and you had to change them?
you bought new or used?

@scraper
is that a core 2 duo , or core duo is core duo?
mine is a macbook same processor. I am amazed how this stuff when its new
is advertised like "super speed and fast"
few years later its inadequate
I mean when those processors were out(2007), HD video was all over the internet
so it should handle videoediting easily.

Any way I wanted to ask if you are a video editor.
I always saw people video editing on laptops, where I recall my top of the line imac
had problems with it. is it really possible to edit a video project on a laptop given the whole processor and ram power it needs not to mention the HUGE amounts of harddrive space needed and sketch space or whatever its called

Yep, I am. Most of the stuff I do are stuff for my high school and claymations. At some point this year though, I'm gonna start making video adaptations of my Game Boy reviews, as well as making more claymations (actually finishing something for god damned once) and starting the fist-puppet parody of 80's cop shows with a few friends.

I have little to nothing on YouTube currently, but the coming Senior year is gonna be all about portfolio building and not fucking up grades. I'll probly be posting projects on the internets fairly frequently.

Also its "1.83 GHz Intel Duo Core" and works fine. I'm probably gonna get a new one fer college though.

My current installs in the OS9 directory. There are a lot of OS9 games which makes the G3 a nice iMac to hang on to. Arashi is a nice Tempest game, Space Cadet is the same one from Win95. The original Lemmings brings back the Amiga game, Jazz Jack Rabbit is a great platformer and Links Pro is a pretty good golf game.

OSX GL Quake, Tremulous On Line and my favorite: Acid Arena fills that void. But I do need to get Marathon.

If I ever got an older Mac, Marathon would be the very first thing I'd buy for it.

Okay just downloaded all three Marathons. I already played the homebrew coded version on the Dreamcast, still the same "Doom" style graphics. I thought Mac Marathon Trilogy would at least have a higher resolution. How does one quit a game back to the menu? A pain hitting F11 to OSX and doing a Force Quit.

EDIT
Never mind, its Apple Command Q for Quit. Forgot how older games used a CTRLQ or ALTQ for quitting.

This is the cleanest my desk has been for months now, so I figured I'd share it while it lasts. I apologize in advance for the awful lighting.

In the photo you can see:

Dell Inspiron 9300 (It's old, but it doesn't give me many issues, and it does everything I ask of it)
Verizon modem and Netgear router
Hollywood Undead (Swan songs)
Tervis Tumbler with my first name and college mascot
Glock 26 w/spare mag
Spyderco Paramilitary 2 and Spyderco Lava
Ipod Touch 4th gen
Samsung Alias 2
Keys with Lego Boba Fett
Becker knives Bk9
Fruit Stripe gum (Blegh!)
Logitech Wheelman trackball (which is slowly dying on me, and is discontinued)
Case pocket knife
Field Notes General Purpose Band of Rubber
A small chicken that I whittled out of branch earlier today.
Current systems: Nintendo Switch and XBox 360,

There are high res texture packs that are real easy to install.

http://marathon.sourceforge.net/

BTW if you aren't hugely into story (even though you should be because Marathon has a pretty great story) Durandal is the best game of the trilogy.
