"I only pirate games that I wouldn't normally buy. In other words, my piracy does not cost game creators any money" Boycotting Sony is costing them money, however. If I pirate their games or not, it makes no difference to them. They are not getting any money from me, regardless.

If I was able to play new PS3 games but was not allowed access to PSN, I would still be very upset and still end up boycotting Sony. Taking away my PSN access just because I refuse to have features taken away is absurd and I will not tolerate it.

Unfairly punching someone in the face once may not be as bad as punching them twice, but it certainly isn't right. I will still get pissed off.

People like you don't mind the occasional unfair punch to the face, and that's exactly why Sony does it.[/quote]

And yet you are STILL crying and moaning about sony, TRUST ME sony loses zilch from you not purchasing them and loses NO sleep over it either. You think sony cares about some douchebag pirate with a grudge?

Seriously, who the fuck are you?

Looking through your limited posting history, exactly 1/3 of your posts could come off as offensive, rude, or otherwise negative to the community.

In fact, you're essentially the one who started this little flame war.

Sit down, shut up, and think before you start berating the other side, no matter if you're right, they're wrong, etc. Everyone has the right to an opinion without shit being tossed at them.

so everyone has a right to an opinion, and yet you want me to sit down and shut up? great logic. You know what my FIRST response back to my FIRST question on racketboy was from your oh so cordial community? JUST FUCKING GOOGLE IT..blah blah blah...a simple "we have discussed this before" would have sufficed but nope, all those wonderfuly compassionate racketboy members were oh so kind.

Unlike the majority of people, i let by gones be by gones and moved on, as i said in an earlier post. Bitching about it won't change facts. And it's not my fault todays generation grew up with "time outs" and are so sensitive they can't take criticism. I'm from the last generation that had balls, could take a punch as well as throw one, and don't whine about everything. I'm not here to make friends, i'm here to voice my opinion. So if anyone doesn't like it...just like sony...i don't lose any sleep over it.

I can do that, it just frustrates the hell out of me that so many people nowadays want something for nothing. I'll scale it back if need be

I can understand people get passionate, but I'm honestly more amazed at how this normally pleasant and mature forum seems to devolve into a catfight whenever Sony is mentioned nowadays then angry with Sony for removing features. I like it here because people are respectful of others and their opinions. At least, normally.
I too was quite surprised when I checked back in on this thread and observed this.

Yeah, but when you are told to shut the fuck up because (insert stupid reason), niceties get thrown out of the window. And honestly, for the most part it's still quite civil.

Oh come on Inazuma, we've talked about this. Just because you weren't going to buy them, doesn't make it fair to pirate the game. I might watch a move if it is played on TV (which is basically free for me, and since I don't have a ratings machine, I'm not actually giving any add revenue money to the channel), even if I didn't care about it, but that doesn't mean I could just as well steal it.

ehhh, maybe Anon is just looking for their 15 minutes of fame. I think maybe they're looking at it like David and Goliath in that they (tiny little group) take down a behemoth of a company (Goliath), but in the process they are effing with those who play by the rules and support sony's black box. I fall into that category, and although i tend to buy new to support dev's, i don't want to feel any consequences for their arrogance, but probably will somewhere down the line, and will have no choice but to fall in line (or pirate at that point...)

What a bizarre world view you have!

Me, I only steal cars I wouldn't normally buy, food I wouldn't normally eat, and movies I wouldn't normally watch. After all, my theft isn't costing those companies any money, because I never intended to buy those products anyway.

Sounds like we'd get along great!
