What platformer are you playing now?
Re: What platformer are you playing now?
I've been playing through Battle Kid: Fortress of Peril.
I think it's a very difficult game, but Sivak did a great job balancing frustration and reward.

Finally playing New Super Mario Bros. for Wii. I like it. Reminds me a lot of Super Mario Bros. 3. I am playing it with my wife and it's a lot of fun, even though she dies a lot. Hehe. She laughs about it though and I keep playing. She used all 5 lives in one little section the other night, then she would float back on the screen in her little bubble.

Bonk's Adventure on the original hardware. No offense to the Wii's VC but I just like to be original in my retro sometimes.

Cosmos Cosmic Adventure for PC. I've been on a bit of a dos kick lately, and I played the shareware version of this to death. I finally got the full version recently and am working my way through it. You play as a little green alien with suction cup hands. Its a pretty good platformer, level design is unique for the time and having bombs adds an interesting element.

I've been loving Castlevania Chronicles. Don't kill me, but I think I prefer it to SOTN. I just am a bigger fan of linear-vania's.
