Back in the day, my local Meijer always had old games that didn't sell. I remember it having Sega CD games long after the system was off the market. Unfortunately, now that I have money to spend on games, Meijer doesn't have the old games anymore.
No, some people still want to use their VHS tapes. The new ones have digital tuners, which might explain their cost.BoringSupreez wrote:My Walmart still has VCR-DVD player combos. I thought those were long gone. And they're not even cheapos, they cost $90 and they are metal, feel well-built. Oh, and they still have those big SD-TVs, but one of the 4 has sold.

Please check to see if that's an accurate price, or if it's lower now. That having been said, why has Wal-Mart's pricing sceme gone so out of whack lately? My local wally world had Odama, a ton of other Xbox games and older Greatest Hits PS2 titles cheap for forever and all of the sudden last month Dark Cloud GH was priced up to $60, Odama was $40 and all the Xbox games were back up to $30!

So weird. I picked up Drill Dozer on clearance for $7.48 from Target while at Otakon in Baltimore in summer 2006. It was presumably already on its 3rd markdown since the red stickers are 3 deep on it.AppleQueso wrote:$30 iirc.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:Price, please?AppleQueso wrote:I know we still have lots of copies of Drill Dozer for GBA at the Wal-Mart I work at. noted, and forgiven. also, i'm picturing you drinking at least 3 beers at once and yelling "a winner is you" at you over and over again.Octopod wrote:Yeah, guess I misread it the first time. Plus I was drinking some beers.aaron wrote:

Why is it I don't think he needs the beer for that?aaron wrote:noted, and forgiven. also, i'm picturing you drinking at least 3 beers at once and yelling "a winner is you" at you over and over again.Octopod wrote:Yeah, guess I misread it the first time. Plus I was drinking some beers.aaron wrote:
