I thought I would give my input on the questions you asked earlier. I couldn't really think of my own questions at the moment. Most of them were mainly revolving around the "What is X franchise didn't suck anymore?" theme.

...Elvis was a hidden character in Mortal Kombat 2
Kind of unrelated but this just reminded me. I'm sure a lot of people are aware but the Mortal Kombat characters were supposed to be secret characters in NBA Jam but because of all the ESRB Drama the NBA didn't want that type of violence associated with the game so they got taken out. There was also a Mortal Kombat themed court planned but that was also cut too, obviously. I never knew about this until a few years ago but I can just imagine how happy I would of been when I was a child. NBA Jam and Mortal Kombat were two of my favorite games for the SNES and naturally doing a flaming helicopter dunk with Scorpion would of made my day/year.

I find it funny how in Super Mario RPG the princess actually kicks a lot of ass but she somehow forgot all her fighting techniques and magic for years until Smash Bros came out.
sevin0seven wrote:...Pong made a comeback?
Back in the Playstation days there was a remake of Pong and it was actually pretty decent. There was a lot of modes and variations to Pong, and some of them did suck but I still had a lot of fun playing this game.

....Sega Saturn lasted more than 3 yrs?
If either of these systems lasted longer I think the gaming industry would be drastically different. I had the privilege of going to the Sega section of Disney World during Sega's prime. Its a shame that the company is just a shell of what it used to be, if you can even call it that. It will never happen but it would be really nice to see them get back in the console game. I wasn't ever a huge fan of the Genesis, being a Nintendo fanboy but the Dreamcast and Saturn were just amazing to me.

They tried this with a couple different games for SNES, N64 and Gamecube. They are all terrible.

Personally I don't really ever play ROMs. I used to back in school instead of doing work but most times they were just ROMs of games I had at home anyways. ROMs are a great way to experience games you've never played and its a good solution to people who can't get a hold of a physical game or system, but being an avid collector I take pride in my game collection and having all the physical games and whatnot so I could really care less about ROMs. Another good thing about ROMs that I am a huge fan of is high quality game hacks. Playing different versions of classic games such as Super Mario World of A Link to the Past feels just like playing an "official expansion" pack or sequel to a good game.
sevin0seven wrote:....there was actually a good Street Fighter Movie (or Mortal Kombat)?
Everyone thought the Mortal Kombat movie was awesome when it came out but looking back on it, its actually really horrible. Being cool at the time kind of counts though. Sadly the same thing can't be said for the live action Street Fighter movie. That movie was just horrible, even as a kid. There is a Street Fighter animated movie that is also pretty good. I haven't seen it in probably 10 years but I remember it being pretty sweet.

That would be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
