My tax return came in so I bought the 360 TwinStick EX.
My Otomedius Hyper Stick also arrived, I was hoping the touch panel acted as the right analog stick so it'd be usable in Geometry Wars, but no suck luck.
My novelty controllers.

Out of curiosity, are you that big of a Virtual On fan or do you just like the controllers?
I love the solid look of the Twin Stick EX, but I'm not really interested in online play so I'd just end up figuring out a way to connect it to my Dreamcast anyway.

Both. But the 360 version is nigh-unplayable on the stock controller

I found out the touch pad on the HyperStick Pro actually works as the right analog stick on 360 (but not PC) So I played a bit of Geometry Wars (Movement and Shooting both mapped to Right Analog) it sucked. But at least I could use it.

You guys have awesome collections. I am drooling over some of the controllers you guys have.
I also collect controllers, but I am not as specialized. I collect basically any controller I get my hands on. Although, I must admit I really like the usual/novelty controllers and also the simulators. I sometimes even buy the controller then search for the game that supports it.
I have well over 300 different controllers in my collection - although this does include some common items, like gamepads, joysticks and of course racing wheels (and plenty more!). Sorry I don't have any photos at the moment.
Crux - You ever think about getting the Stolen Song Game with V-Pick controller? Or the The Maestro Music Baton controller? I bet they would fit into your interest zone.
NeoTechni - I have seen your website - awesome site. I have been meaning to get the Onimusha 3 Soul Katana Sword, but have not been able to fit it into my budget yet with the postage cost and all, so I have been totally drooling over yours. I do have a Novint Falcon though - I really like the Falcon - makes Crysis more interesting - I do wish I had the Haptx versions of the Penumbra games though - I got the standard ones before I got the Falcon, so I have to re-buy the haptx versions - kinda sucks.
Oh, and all those wondering about the Gametrak - I have the 1st gen version for PS2 and it is great. The 2 golf games get a bit boring after a while, but Dark Wind is pretty cool. Dark Wind is a fighting/magic game. Like Tekken or Street Fighter but with you physically punching/blocking and also doing magic moves. So if you get the Gametrak with Dark Wind it wouldn't have to be considered a sporting controller.

I've never found myself very specialized, but simply practical. I only buy what I'd want to use. Even with games, I'm only a "collector" due to pure volume. I have over 650 games, but they're spread over 25+ consoles. Per console the highest count I have is around 50 (for Dreamcast and PS2). The same goes for controllers. I have a huge collection, but every one I bought because I actually want to use them. Nonetheless, awesome to see other controller collectors. It's beyond niche for collectors.
I actually have a pretty sizable number of regular controllers because of how many systems I own. I'd say probably close to 100 various standard controllers, most of which are distinct from one another. I try to never have a duplicate controller (though differences in color is fine enough for me). I won't go above what the system can use, however. I was hoping to get a thread up for my console and game collection some time in the near future, and I'll probably include the rest of my controllers in that.
I'd love to see a list or even pictures of your controllers, if you ever get around to it.
As an aside, I've only bought a single controller since my update. I recently finally found a decent price for a Time Crisis pedal. The RedOctane version is still mysteriously missing, but I got an arcade pedal I plan on converting to work with PS1, PS2, and PC. It's incredibly solid, obviously. Not sure how it compares to the RedOctane version, but I'll hold out for that one if I can ever find it for a two-player option.
