I got a free tv like that one time. It didn't have component or s-video, just standard composite. It also didn't have any sound! Which I'm sure is why the owner got rid of it. What it did have though was a nice picture. Plus, it was much bigger than the tv I currently was using for games. Nice! I also keep my a/v receiver with my game stuff. I hardly watch tv or movies, so that TV just uses the normal speakers.
I live in what I guess you could call the cheap apartments on the nice side of town. Whenever people move out, they leave furniture, tv's, etc. I try to hoard CRT's with component inputs since it's really nice for PS2's among other things, plus they usually have really nice s-video and composite pictures too.
