Man, most Gamestops quit selling PS2 games four or five years ago.

I avoid Gamestop like the plague, but I used to absolutely hate how they'd trash boxes of old generations and you'd just find hundreds of PS2/Wii games or whatever in paper sleeves. Disgusting.

Yeah, no PS2 games for a while now. I made out like a bandit with cheap, disc-only games. I mean, yeah, I'd prefer cases and manuals, but when I'm snagging stuff at $1-2 a game for stuff I'm sorta interested in but will probably never play, who cares?
I just wish I'd held on to that sketchy copy of Blood Will Tell, maybe I could have gotten it fixed up.
As for dumping cases, I think the only system I really remember them doing that with was the DS. So many of their PS2 games were already case-less when they were traded in. It was depressing to see them get rid of all those cases, too. Wish I could have just hung around the dumpster or something, but I'm sure either some employee or I would have gotten in big trouble.

Same. Not generally worth stopping by, sometimes not even for sales, since so many of their (even cheaper) games are still quite above the prices you can get them for online. Too often I can even get them NEW on Amazon for less than Gamestop has used.ElkinFencer10 wrote:Seriously. I identify everyone via avatar, so if you change your avatar, I genuinely might completely forget who you are. -- Me

Ordered Torment: Tides of Numenera from Gamefly for $13. Apparently quite a few of the issues have been patched since release, so hopefully it'll be worth it. That's also the cheapest I've seen it pretty much anywhere.

When I quit as manager of GS in 2007 I just never wanted to go back and I haven't.
Re: Games Acquired 2017
I just picked up the Capcom Humblebundle for $20. It has some games I've been wanting to play like Dead Rising and some Resident Evils.
