Has anyone caught any episodes of the vice show on HBO? It's really good for a news show from the states that was started by a bunch of hipsters. I've been watching the entire first season and man they go into some stuff that flies pretty low on the radar for a lot of people. I just finished an episode about Shell's oil spills in Nigeria and they go out and find a guerrilla oil refinery. I'm in the middle of an episode now where they are in North Korea with Dennis Rodman and the Harlem globe trotters. I didn't know that they helped set that up.

That and the West's failed invasions. All we did is beat the beehive with a stick. It is a pity because the people disagreed with the war but our politicians blindly pursued the wrong path anyway. Shame on those politicians that thought it was a good idea to arm a bunch of Jihadi terrorists.
I hope one-day countries like Iraq can banish extremists from their lands. There are plenty of good people who can lead their nation to more colourful and brighter days. However, sadly we all know that day really will not come, unless the Muslim world unites and fights extremism head-on.
Dan Carlin touched on this in an earlier podcast. If countries with muslim majorities formed a federation, it would be clear-cut where everyone stood on international issues, and diplomacy would be more effective, and those fringe elements would be fought off on the inside. But sadly that thing will never come to be.

Since I live near those guys, I can tell you that, its also the people. They decided to fight and divide for ever.They never rest. They are kind of "mischief" makers.

Pretty sure WWII led to Britain being too poor to maintain its empire and being bombarded by the native Jews in Palestine to leave, thus the end of British rule of Palestine. If you were herded like cattle, marked like a beast, and had everything you knew destroyed by people who enjoyed doing it, would you wanna go back to that place?? And Jews had never had a place of their own, even though religiously the land was supposed to be theirs. For thousands of years, they were persecuted. During the crusades, French and British knights would detour to Germany to ransack the Jews because "they had money and they didnt deserve it."

Reading history the way we want much? During the crusades they ransack EVERYONE. christians, muslims, jews, everyone who wasn't a part of their group.

I never said they didn't. The Jews were just an easy target considering the way they were treated during the middle ages. It was unholy to lend money and make profit from it. At the time, the Jews owned all the banks and were looked at like animals. It was easily justifiable in their minds that if they were reclaiming the holy land that they could take money from whoever to fund it because "God wanted it that way"

That is what happens when you hand out British passports like candy.
Since I'm going to hazard a guess, that 99% of them are really young so they were probably born in Britain I don't see how this is a problem of weak immigration control. It's just another case of failed integration of immigrants in Europe.

I don't see your point. When WWII happened the Jews didn't have anything to do with it. If the Nazi government tortured Jews, they did it pre-WWII and no one did anything about it. I believe that when WWII ended the Jews demanded to have their own country. Being tortured or looked down by the Nazi had nothing to do with WWII. That is as far as I know. Unless you are saying that if no Jews exists in the first place, WWII would never have happened.
Israel is something that happened

Never said it was a reason for WWII, but the creation of the Jewish state of Israel was a direct outcome of the war. Considering that a Nazi guard from Auschwitz(which was operational from 1940-1945, within the parameters of the war) is being extradited back to Germany for
war crimes this week, I would say the torture and detention of Jews had a lot to do with WWII, not to mention many countries didn't really welcome the Jews back with open arms. The Italians made a huge portion of their displaced Jews
