Hi everyone,

I was thinking it would be a shame to use this wonderful forum without introducing myself properly :)

I'm 27, from France and I'm an active Sega saturn collector. I'm so in love with this system, it's almost indecent (mainly talking about the money I find myself spending for this little gem every month :) ).
I'm mainly collecting the system's RPGs, Shmups, 2D fighters (planning to get every title in the end). Besides that, I'm also collecting other types of games I feel worthy of being collected.
My collection is primarily made of Japanese NTSC games but I'm not reluctant about gathering EU or US rarities :)

That's all about me

Thanks for reading so far, I'm happy to have found this forum/website which became one of my all time favorites !

I stumble into this thread occasionally to look for Saturn fans and extend my welcome (though I welcome all of you just the same). That said, I'm a massive Saturn fan myself. My favorite game of all time is Guardian Heroes. Do you have a favorite on the Saturn?

Hard to say :) Too many awesome games on the saturn...

I guess my favorite of all time would be the shining force 3 series ( I'm a saturn fan and a die hard fan of the tactical games from this series, it HAD to be this :) )
My other personal favorites are : guardian heroes (close second) , dragon force and silhouette mirage.

Nice. Those are all great games. I'm torn between SF3 and Dragon Force myself--two of the greatest SRPGs ever. I'm assuming you've played Dark Saviour and Legend of Oasis as well. They're both excellent games.

Didn't initially see that there was a forum for this but hey! Here goes.

I'm Crystalis from Kalamazoo, MI. I've been a classic gamer all my life and have been "collecting" retro games for around three years now. Doesn't seem like that long to many of you, I'd imagine, but considering the fact that I'm still just 20 years old, it seems like quite a while for me.

I say "collecting" because I really don't have my mind set on gathering a large selection of games for one console, or spending much money on these games (Hey, I'm a college kid, what can you expect?!). I'm more of a treasure hunter of games... yard sales/thrift stores/pawn shops are all my territory. Still haven't found a true grail for my collection yet but I have come across some amazing things, including a mint, complete black label copy of Xenogears-PS1 for $1, a boxed, complete Sega 32x for $6, and many boxed copies of games - the majority of them being NES games (strangely enough).

Racketboy is my true source for mostly all the info I possess when it comes to rare and valuable games for many systems. Thanks for making this website a cornerstone for me and many others out there who love classic gaming!

Hi everyone, I found this site awhile back and lost contact with it due to getting too busy with other things and am now back. I am a gamer through and through and enjoy magazine preservation and working with people in various aspects of that (and also in the gaming industry itself with another site I co-own).

I am kind of a loudmouth so I hope I don't get on anyone's nerves, just let me know if I do. lol

I am 33 years old, do computer repair for a living and collect off the wall things concerning games (I have a Resident Evil 1 "squishy" eyeball for instance and a fuzzy Yoshi keychain among other things). I am pretty open so if you would like to know more, just ask.

Hello,

Came across this site just now whilst looking for Dreamcast stuff. Thought I'd sign up as it looks interesting.

I'm not really a hardcore gamer, i just like poncing about with old systems from my youth (I'm 29).
I have actually got a load of old gaming crap knocking about. My wife despairs every time a brown padded envelope or box arrives with Ebay all over it.

My favourite system is the Megadrive, although I have a soft spot for the humble Speccy 48k.

Anyway, I'll look forward to reading/posting.

Take it easy...
