Well good choice with In the Nightside Eclipse. It's one of the most critically-acclaimed black metal albums of all time, and one of my favorites. The production is fantastic, it's like an all-engulfing storm. I don't really care for much post-Nightside Emperor though, which is when the band started focusing on technicality more than atmosphere. Satyricon was a great band too, their first three full-lengths are genre classics, as is the Enslaved split. Avoid the newer material though, it's absolute garbage.
The Agonist also posted on their Facebook not long ago that theyre selling a batch of autographed versions of their latest album, and one of them includes a drawing by Alissa. Was debating on getting it until I noticed in the corner "ONLY 5 LEFT" so I jumped on it. 1 hour later and they're sold out now.
