The censored picture was one of a very fine female specimen sitting in front of a big screen TV playing a racing game. Any 'normal' guy would look at the woman, not the screen. That's what made the thread funny. Most people that commented on it got that. Niode on the other hand thought differently. He had the erase the picture and lock the thread...

I can understand why he made the edits. This website is for the discussion of video gaming, not for ogling over women. There are other forums where you can do that. This type of behavior might disgust the women posters we have on this site.

I do agree with your point why the same wasn't done for the other pictures.

Oh yeah, if you like Twin Peaks, check out Deadly Premonition. Just understand that it's a little...odd.

I'm sorry to say this Noise, but Deadly Premonition is an Xbox 360 exclusive in the US. It's actually one of the few reasons I haven't given up on the 360 entirely. But if that Japan PS3 version comes out over here, I will gladly buy it again.

Really? I thought all of that went dead back in 2009. I read somewhere that they were 90% done around then, but never saw anything further. Who is doing it?

If I remember correctly, we had actually received a complaint about that thread. I won't say from who (it wasn't an admittedly female member, so don't let this ruin your opinion of them), but we did get at least one, so Niode was doing his best to handle the situation.

The PS3 version is totally playable for non-English speakers. It features all of the oh so great English voice acting in the 360 one, and English menus.

There is still Japanese text through-out, but the game is still 100% playable and beatable. The only problems you'd face would be using the radio for quick travel and reading how to do side quests, and both problems are pretty easily alleviated with the help of the Internet.

You probably already know this, but I'm just saying to people that haven't played it yet and own a PS3, it's very import-friendly.

Edit: Woah. I just checked the prices, and it has become super rare, and runs for over $100 on eBay... I'm glad I bought it right when it came out. That really sucks for people that want to play it, it was easily my GOTY 2010.

I might have been misinformed.. I had a friend tell me about it about a month ago, but I can't find anything on it. Maybe he didn't know what he was talking about.
