Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Saw Ted last night. It was pretty much like watching a Family Guy episode. There were parts that were funny and there were parts that made me cringe. Ok, there were more parts that made me cringe than laugh. It was pretty predictable too. Every time some 'riff' happened, you knew what was going to happen for the next few scenes.
Meh.
Meh.

I watched Black Death last night (started at 1am, already tanked, had sobered up by the end :V).
Absolutely worthy of the low ratings it's received, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. The first half was a fairly decent portrait of squalid medieval Europe, plague or not, and the second half was a fairly entertaining story on par with a cheesy fantasy movie.
The last five minutes absolutely ruins it, though- I'd like to see a cut that maybe had the voice over at the end, but none of the footage. It should have ended 5-10 minutes sooner as the ending added NOTHING to the story.

Amazing.

Not quite so amazing, but surprisingly entertaining nonetheless. It helped to pretend it had no connection to the original whatsoever (which, it didn't)

Italian job is great. Cant wait to see that movie where Michael Caine has a machine gun too.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
I wish that movie titles were more literal, like those South Park parodies. "Michael Caine has a Machine Gun" "Christian Bale wears a batsuit" "Liam Neeson Fucks Shit Up" "Al Pacino Mumbles and Yells"
Though I don't think Michael Caine touches a machine gun in the original Italian Job. He does mention one.

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
I went to see Snow White with the woman but it was too busy, so had to do cinema roulette in the queue, and the next film on was The 5 Year Engagement. I thought oh god, a chick flick, but surprisingly, I really enjoyed this. I actually cared for the characters and there was some genuinely hilarious moments, although it was probably a bit overlong.
But if you have to take the lady out, take her to this one. 7/10

Thought it was average at best. X2 was better than X-Men, could happen with the First Class as well.BurningDoom wrote:

Jason Segal is an excellent writer. Have you seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall?Razzmatazz wrote:I went to see Snow White with the woman but it was too busy, so had to do cinema roulette in the queue, and the next film on was The 5 Year Engagement.
