'Cause I do.

I think TP'SMBHF is a 90 minute movie, maybe a bit more. I'd watch it through the credits as the outtakes are always hilarious.sabrage wrote:I know, I just thought it was funny that Netflix put the full title like that.
Query: at what point are we allowed to stop watching?
Well, if you only watch the first ten minutes of Bambi, it really sucks. A wildfire strikes, a doe's Mother gets shot in the head and the doe is left alone to starve. If you watch with the outlook of "This is going to be really silly" I think you'll watch the entire movie. You go in knowing that it is a man dressed up like a woman, and the movie isn't trying to make you think otherwise. That's part of the fun. It's not trying to be something it's not, Madea is meant to look like a man dressed like a woman and not some shitty Mrs. Doubtfire.sabrage wrote:But if I have to shut it off at any point in utter disgust, is my opinion on Tyler Perry invalidated? (Not meant to be a slight against Tyler Perry; I don't as a general rule have much patience for media that I don't enjoy) In other words, and in a more general sense, how long do you think an individual needs to sit through a movie to have "watched" it?
Hmm...looks at calendar...probably gonna be a week or so...thinking Friday the 13th.sabrage wrote:It's on Watch Instantly. Let me know when you're watching this, Stark, because I'm ready to rake it over a bed of coals. Also, "Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family".Luke wrote:I suggest MADEA'S BIG HAPPY FAMILY. It is a bit sappy, a bit corny, but you will laugh your ass off. The plot is a little thin, story is a tad predictable, but you'll laugh your ass off (see, I'm even tough on movies I adore).
Sounds good to me. I have a couple movies on the backburner I need to knock out first anyways.Stark wrote:Hmm...looks at calendar...probably gonna be a week or so...thinking Friday the 13th.
Better make that a new bad wig... I don't want to die.Luke wrote:Drink every time you see a bad wig if you would like to enhance your experience.
Which ones do you mean by "old ones" ?Xeogred wrote:Amazing Spiderman. Loved it. Never watching the old ones again (not that I ever really did).
Emma Stone is very hot.
It was good and stuff. Lizard was amazing, not sure why so many of my friends were uninterested in him and stuff.
