The cart might boot, but there would definitely be something missing from the game. For instance, on Chatting Parodius the outer pins are used for the spoken samples. I think that game will work and just be missing those if you use a Game Genie that is missing the pins in order to play it on a US system. I don't have a SNES GG to test it anymore though. I swear I read that you'd be missing graphics in Star Fox if the outer pins weren't connected.

There's not enough of those bits to connect anything when plugged into a SNES, but since it looks like just the connectors are broken off, I'm sure something could be set up to fix it. No need to destroy some other SNES cart, an old PC ISA card or something with the Same width pins that nobody cares about could be used. Would just have to clean up the PCB, epoxy a replacement piece, then wire up the connections. Obviously you'd just need to be gentle when inserting the cart.

Now that's the kind of answer I was hoping for.

Wonder what that one pin does then. It's the "/WRAM" pin, but I don't know what that would mean for a game.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

Well, thanks for all the theories/info. I guess I'll just have to play through it, slowly but surely, and see if anything happens.

Can't wait to hear your results, mjmjr25.

Hmmph. All I get now is this error message.
"Mike, you're an idiot.

Go play SEGA."

The way to make it the easiest for your Mother is to print a screen from a game and graph it out.
Ha ha. Never mind. I've found the ones I wanted and already sketched them all out on graph paper. I still have to color them in, but I'm in no hurry.

My quilt shall include (in no particular order):

Mega Man
Kirby
Link w/sword
Pit
Simon Belmont
Ryu Hayabusa
Samus
and Donkey Kong rolling a barrel with Mario jumping over the barrel :D

I'd like to have more, but I think that's all that's going to fit on a Full sized quilt. All the sprites are going to be in the center of the quilt, stitched together in a big square, with a small red outline going around the border, followed by a thicker black boarder and finally some gray edging. Oh, and I have to sketch out an NES controller pattern for her to quilt in the border......I'm not expecting this thing to be done any time soon

Internet Explorer, all the default games like Solitaire, Windows Media Player, and the built-in Table PC software can be disabled under "Control Panel>Programs>Turn Windows Features on or off". This automatically makes 7 better than XP. I approve.

IE can be turned off in WinXP as well.

Control Panel → Add or Remove Programs → Add or Remove Windows Components → Uncheck Internet Explorer
