@girlracer:
Nice finds overall, but why'd you buy a game like Billy and Mandy? That's the one turd in your haul. Also, had no idea there was a Target GBA. Kinda wish I had one; I like Target.

Maybe girlracer likes Billy and Mandy? Or maybe she realized that new copies of that game currently go for about a 1000% markup on the $3 that girlracer paid.

Got a loose copy of Mega Man Legends for $2. Has light scratches, just curious if its safe to resurface it, never did that with a PS1 game before.

Yes its just like a music CD, no hard coating like a BlueRay. There is a less intrusive method:

Thats quite a weird amount to find :S.

Anyhow, I went to a boot fair today. There wasn't a whole lot of game related stuff there, besides one or two PS2's and a lot of sports and shooting games for PS2, but I did manage to come away with a few nice pick-ups.

Sony Playstation w/ all wires and one controller £5
Crash Bandicoot (PS1) - £1 (had both crash bandicoot and crash bandicoot: wrath of cortex in the case!)

Resident Evil 4 (Gamecube) - £3

Commodore 64 w/ adapter, joystick & cassette loader
Final Fight CIB (Commodore 64)
Impossible Mission II (C64)
4-in-1 game cassette (all rubbish casino games)(C64)
All for £10

So not a bad haul for £19 imo. I do need to buy a video cable to test the commodore though. Does anyone know if the C64 uses the same video cable and adapter as the commodore Amiga 500? I have both, but I have no cables at all for the Amiga.

Edit: Did a little testing. The PS1 seems to be having some loading issues (games start loading, but very, very, very slowly), but the commodore 64 is working great :D. Unfortunately, the cassette reader is broken (it doesn't seem to be powering on, or at least the tape spindle won't rotate). Still, could be worse.

Gamestop is having there Canada Day sales right now for the month of July. So...

Saturday I picked up:
Yakuza 4 New: $29.99
Metroid Other M New: $9.99
Nights Journey into Dreams New: $4.99
Sega Superstars Tennis New: $4.99
Assassin's Creed 2 New: $9.99
Bioshock 2 New: $9.99

Then today I was in another town and went to a gamestop I had never been to before. I was stoked when I saw they had the cheapest ps2 and xbox games I had ever seen in a gamestop before. So of course, I basically cleared them out haha. Here's what I got:

Xbox
Gungriffon: $0.89
Otogi 2: $4.49
Phantasy Star Online: $0.89
The Suffering Ties That Bind New: $2.98

PS2
Brave: The Search for Spirit Dancer: $4.49
Code Lyoko Quest for Infinity: $4.98
Eternal Ring: $1.79
Front Mission 4: $4.49
Future Tactics The Uprising: $1.79
Killer 7: $1.79
Legend of Kay: $4.49
Legend of Legaia 2: $4.49
Mad Maestro: $1.79
Metal Gear Solid 2: $2.69
Metal Gear Solid 3: $2.69
MS Saga New Dawn: $4.49
Oni: $0.89
Project Eden: $1.79
Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal: $1.79
Rayman Arena: $1.79
Resident Evil Outbreak: $4.49
S.L.A.I. Steel Lance Arena Interional: $4.49
Seven Samurai: $4.49
Shinobi: $3.59
Taito Legends 2: $0.89
Tenchu Wrath of Heaven: $4.49
The Mark of Kri: $0.89
The Rise of Kasai: $2.69
The Suffering: $4.49
Treasure Planet: $1.79
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: $4.49
Viewtiful Joe 2: $0.89
Winback Covert Operations: $1.79
Xenosaga Episode II: $4.49

The deal of the day there was Transformers Revenge of the Fallen 360 New for $4.99 so I picked that up since it was cheap.

Then I popped over to The Source, they had some items on clearance so I got them :)
No More Heroes 2 Wii New: $9.99
Wii Classic Controller New: $4.99

Then lastly I went to the walmart there in this town and it seems no one buys games from there because I found something that's been off the shelves for a while. I have been looking for this game forever and was so excited to see it.
Metroid Prime Trilogy New: $60
It was full price so not much of a deal but considering how much it still goes for on ebay and to find this new in store was amazing! They had 3 copies but I just got the one. I might pick up the other 2 next time i'm back there.

Anyways, wow, I usually never find good deals but today was something special :) I'm content!

Edit: I forgot to mention the gamestop where I picked up all the used games, the manager there was awesome. He told me he doesn't accept any used games unless they're in very good condition and complete. Everything I bought came complete and all the discs are in perfect condition which was an absolute bonus. I told him i'd definitely be coming back more to that location.
