Not really a game per se, but I just got in the Power Base Mini FM. Been wanting one of these for a while, and now the glorious FM chip is mine!

They actually have 299.99 consoles back on Amazon (as of this typing), so I finally bought a Switch!

Edit: As of 3:35 EST they are gone! Glad I got one while I could.

Totally unnecessary, but I found a sealed $14 copy of the Korean version of Ys II Eternal on eBay and couldn't resist.

Bruh that's dope. Now that I have a PC Engine CD, the next "big" things I'm aiming to add to my collection is Ys Book 1&2 and Ys III.

Totes worth it, Elkin. The PCECD is an absolute treasure. Just beware PCEWorks bootlegs. Some sellers scammers don't even let you know it's a boot.

The store where I bought my PC Engine CD (it's a locally owned place in Greensboro, NC) sells their stuff and threw in a CD repro for free when I bought mine, but they clearly label all of the repros as such. I'm not a fan of selling repros, and I wouldn't have gotten that one if it weren't free, but at least they do label and make sure you know that you're buying a reproduction.

Yesssssss.

I have played all five console version of Ys III. Lovely game, and the PCE port is the best by far. Don't skip out on Ys IV either. It's rad and feels like the direct successor to the glorious Ys Book I & II.

Went out and picked up a copy of Binding of Isaac Afterbirth + for the Switch today. I even got super lucky and found a used copy of the first print run in really nice condition. It has the manual and stickers and everything

Even got a good price on it as well with a coupon. Now I just need to resist the temptation to lick it
