This is exactly what I was going to ask! Didn't recognize you. (The announcer made a big deal about the guy in the SMB3 shirt getting the fastest time).

Quoting myself from the NeoGAF thread:

Next meet up:

Thanksgaming Sunday afternoon SHMUPs at...
Image

Where?
Game Over Video Games @ the Lamar Store.

When?
Sunday, November 24th from 1pm to 5pm

What will we be doing?
This is going to be a SHMUP themed meet. We will have systems and games set up to play. Casual, no tournaments or score runs (unless you want to set something up on your own).

I am personally bringing the following:

Saturn:
-Battle Garegga
-Salamander Deluxe Pack
-Galactic Attack
-Batsugun
-Thunder Force Gold Pack 2

Dreamcast:
-Gigawing 2
-Zero Gunner 2
-Gunbird 2

PS1:
Einhander

Game Over has a rather large WEGA set up in front of a couch. I would like to bring along another 20" - 27" CRT if possible. My goal is to have a Saturn and Dreamcast set up on Game Over's WEGA and then a dedicated TATE CRT, hooked up to another Saturn and a Dreamcast.

Want to contribute? I am concentrating on the Saturn and Dreamcast, but anything SHMUP related is welcome. Arcade boards? Arcade sticks? Other systems? Games? J360 + all of the CAVE releases? Let me know.

If you have a 20" - 27" CRT TV you can donate (preferably something with an S-Video input), PM me. We will be turning it on its side, so you'll need to be OK with this.

A shmups.system11 forum member may be bring an X68000 down from Dallas. We will need a multi sync monitor for this thing. PM me if you have one that supports 15/24 and 31 kHz.

And now for the serious stuff:

Please keep in mind that Game Over is a retail store and they will be open for business during the hours we are there. The consumption of food and beverages is not allow in the store. If you are bringing hardware or games, please check in with the staff. Respect people's property and ask owners before altering hardware configurations or changing games.

Game Over is allowing us to hold this meet, free of charge and the community involvement helps their business. Relax and enjoy some games, but please also be on your best behavior when attending. These guys are very chill and down to earth. I have held many successful meets at this store in the past.

I'll have to pass. The meetups were more fun when they were racket exclusive.
