And what ever happened to Sunsoft? They made some great games.
Ha! I mentioned your comment in another thread. Luck had somewhat to do with it, as I can land without a problem, but refueling usually is a killer.

I really need to get a copy of Silius. I'm dying to play that game.

Quick summaries because it's late and I should be doing work.
De Blob is excellent. It's quite easy, and a bit repetitive, but if you take it one level per play session like I did, its stays fun. There are 10 levels that'll take about an hour each, although much longer if you 100% each one and much shorter if you just aim to get through ASAP. The controls are a bit weird with waggle to jump, but on the other hand, locking on to an enemy and slamming by swinging the remote down is immensly satisfying. Definetely worth a go.

Mighty Flip Champs is OK, I found it a bit dull at some points, the puzzles often boiled down to working out which order to push switches in, which is frankly tedious. However, there are some fun ideas, and most people seem to love it, so obviously I'm an exception to the rule.

Spirt Tracks is Zelda. Like the other DS Zelda it is too easy, and feels like everythings been trimmed down a bit. Also like the other DS Zelda, its still really fun. It also removes some annoyances from the old game (theres a tower like before, but you dont need to go through any of the old rooms over and over) and adds a couple of new ones (if you thought the sailing was restrictive, wait til you see the train tracks ¬_¬). One of the worst zeldas, but still a great game.

AiRace is fun for a quick blast. You fly a plane down a tunnel with roatating walls with different shapes gaps in them. You have to align the plane to fly through them, including rolling the planes rotation to fit. For 200 DSi points its fun enough.

Next up: Not sure really. Possibly Wild Guns, but I might play something else instead. After that it'll hopefully be Fantasy Zone, Metroid and Christmas NiGHTs, all in time for christmas.

Getting pretty close to that 110 mark, aren't you jfe2?

For the record, I've managed to get to the third level in Top Gun. I haven't played it in years though. I miss it...

This was a old freebie on XBLA, I downloaded a disc a DRM free XBLA games, this has to be the single easiest XBLA game there is I got 200/200 in like 15 minutes (there are 6 levels as a T-rex and 6 as a Truck). They could have done more as the ground work was there, but it was free so I am not complaining and finally a game in my 100% list on the 360!

First 50 Games here!
  • Braid (PSN)
    Sonic Chaos (Game Gear)
    Sonic Triple Trouble (Game Gear)
    Mega Man 5 (NES)
    Mega Man 3 (NES)
    Uno (PSN)

    *New*Left 4 Dead 2 (PC Download)
Having played through the original this one had lost some of its luster. However, it more then makes up for it with new content and refined gameplay.

    *New*Super Meat Boy (PC Download)
I can't express my love for this game enough. Even with the issues the PC version has suffered through this is a serious GOTY contender for me. Even though I beat final boss I still have so much content left to do. Can't wait till I can claim I beat the game 100%!

*New*And Yet it Moves (PC Download)
The concept and art style in this platformer is really cool. However, I found it to be a little too slow paced, as well the game was a bit to touchy on how I would die and a few of the puzzles were too vague. Still, its the kind of game you can just play when you don't feel like playing anything else.

TOTAL: 47

So after beating The Magical Quest, and with the recent release of Epic Mickey, I thought I'd sit down with another Mickey Mouse game for the SNES, The Great Circus Mystery, and like my thoughts on The Magical Quest, I wasn't disappointed. Once again, Capcom delivered a heartwarming Disney game based around the mouse that was quite forgiving, even moreso than The Magical Quest.

Actually, this game is pretty much a direct sequel to The Magical Quest, with a slightly updated graphical style and a different plot. Also, there's multiplayer to play as Minnie Mouse, so if you've got a girlfriend or wife handy who's interested in platformers and wants to childhood nostalgia, it's not a bad choice.

Woo, updating again! It's too bad I really can't stand Primal Rage. Don't get me wrong, I want to like it. I really do. The thought of smacking the crap out of dinosaurs in a prehistoric beat down sounds like incredible fun. It's just that I can't stand the controls, and to add to it, the graphics on the SNES port look extremely watered down. Maybe that's just me. I feel it's nice they implemented a training mode, but it's basically a round of the game with no training options.
