I don't hate homosexuals though. I mean, if I'm going to hate people for not meeting what I think are the Bible's standards, I'd pretty much hate everyone including myself.

I don't believe such an attitude of hate would be Biblical either.
That's pretty much how I think too, but we're firmly in the minority here.
Why are you in the minority? I share a somewhat similar opinion, as do quite a few other friends of mine on this forum, whom I know for a fact tend to stay out of these conversations as I usually do too, because they do often go downhill and people can end up hurt or otherwise offended.

Being loud, or good rhetoricians, does not the majority make.
I was not aware that there were many here who disapprove of homosexuality. If you say there are several others who think that way but remain silent on the issue, I'll take your word for it.

My wife and I have been invited to join a regular D&D group.

We're gonna do a test run in a couple of weeks to see if we like it before joining their regular ongoing game.

I've never been interested in this style of gaming before, but after discussing all of this and spending this evening playing one of the D&D boardgames with them, we're both really excited about it. Should be fun.

Totally unrelated, yesterday I got to ride on an african elephant. It was fucking cool.

Well, seeing as how that particular elephant likes to supplex people that piss her off, it probably wouldn't be very safe.

I saw that thread about a week ago; good times, indeed. :P My personal favorite was the lady who went to the tech store to print out the expired spa coupon.

What? No! Love Andy Griffith, he's in one of my favorite movies: Rustler's Rhapsody.
