Nobody's been punched, bitten, or thrown down the stairs yet.

Just several of us that think there's nothing wrong with homosexuals, even if (presumably) all but one of the people who have spoken up don't fall under that distinction. We'd like to know if there's a reason you think the way you do other than 'because my parents/church told me' without presenting any evidence. We're just presenting our thoughts and it's a bit lopsided as you're the one person that's spoken up in the last hour that thinks it is wrong.

70 years later, at a nursing home somewhere in Texas....

The nurse walks in, frowning. Old Mr. Drifter, stubbornly stuck in his own ways. She had been assigned to him after the last nurse, a gay young man, was run off by Mr. Drifter after talking about his recent date with his boyfriend. Of course, Mr. Drifter was an old one, and he was still with the mentality that homosexuality was wrong. He never explained why, and couldn't find the words to explain himself when it did come up.

"Mr. Drifter, you need to take your pills, or the doctor will have to come in again." He didn't respond. It was odd. Since the incident, Mr. Drifter had sadly looked at an old website, racket something or other, and frowned. He constantly edited the 70 something year old posts, hoping that his words would flow in a way that correctly conveyed his feelings. They didn't though.

He went on in this stance, only stopping during family visits and his videogame sessions.

"What an odd man" The nurse could commonly be heard saying.

I believe homosexual acts are wrong. I think this because that's what I interpret the Bible to say. I really have no other reason.

I don't hate homosexuals though. I mean, if I'm going to hate people for not meeting what I think are the Bible's standards, I'd pretty much hate everyone including myself.

I don't believe such an attitude of hate would be Biblical either.

Why are you in the minority? I share a somewhat similar opinion, as do quite a few other friends of mine on this forum, whom I know for a fact tend to stay out of these conversations as I usually do too, because they do often go downhill and people can end up hurt or otherwise offended.

Being loud, or good rhetoricians, does not the majority make.
