What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Zombieland on BD. 8) One of those movies that has eluded my movie collection for too long and FINALLY purchased. LOVE this movie and I can't wait for the sequel!
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

I don't care how many times I watch the movie... this scene cracks me up every time. That Emma Stone... she always thought I was so handsome.

I was gonna try and go on the earliest showing on the 20th. Not the midnight one, the one later in the morningish after that.
I'm gonna see whatever the first showing my theater has. I've been waiting four long years for it, so I'm not gonna make it any longer than it has to be.
Main reason I'm not going to the very first showing at 12:01am is because I'll be at work.

I just noticed that page 1 of this thread has people talking about seeing TDK in theaters. 800 pages later and we'll finally see posts from people talking about seeing its sequel in theaters.

I wouldn't be surprised if half of my guesses are in the movie.
Damn, you really don't have faith in that movie do you? :P :(

I think it is going to be great and overwhelmingly entertaining ; only having fun and making guesses.

I do think Nolan wants to "pass the torch" in a big way though, and every movie is as much about Gotham as it is about The Bat Man. Begins = city under siege/panic. Knight = city under panic/siege. Rises, from every trailer/spot, = city under siege/panic.

Not meaning to be pessimistic at all, and that is not the intention of my posts. I'm sure the all star cast will be utilized to the best of their abilities, and I do have high hopes for Rises. Team Nolan has always provided surprises, twists and turns on characters we thought we knew. But I think everyone would agree that Knight is going to be tough to follow, and the first twenty minutes of Rises is about identical to Knight in premise (Talk about bad guy, set up bad guy, wait what? bad guy has been here the entire time?). If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The third act will more than likely be the big payoff, and I think the second act will be a little tedious (Wayne doing a shit ton of contemplating with Alfred, Freeman, and anyone who has an ear), but still entertaining.

Never judge a movie you haven't seen; again I'm only throwing out ideas I think will be in the movie and expect another great film. For all I know this could end up being the best super hero movie of all time, just not betting on it.

Ah.

If there's a big twist, I personally doubt it'll involve JGL. Maybe something involving Marion Cotillard's character? We've heard very little about her.

Not sure.

JGL is working on a couple Action Hero movies as I type this.

Well, maybe not "as I type", but expect him to be in a slew of action movies in the next couple of years.
